Back in beta days, where no one called each other noobs?
where every faction got along with each other?
when this game was actuly fun to play?
when i could log on and not see 7 players ask me for fame for fame?
when i could sit in world 7 oz, and have a convo. with out all these noobs asking for fame, and keep spamming me if i dont?
The old Leader Board, where Gamal was in first place?
when three stars and a sun ruled this game?
when world 7 oz used to be the place for fun chat with good friends, not a place for fame and fight?

honestly those were the best the game has ever been.. but now look at it....
sadly, now all we have are a bunch of noobs that sit around all days asking for fames, and then even leave two vs two battles just for the fame. this game has changed way to much. and i think we need to make it go back to the good old beta days. back when people enjoyed playing the game 24/7. and now even mods arent starting to play, such as dax and donna. they are getting in active. people are getting bored of this game. my point here is that you need to do somthing about this prombly. first off by taking off fames completely. or mabey reduceing there fames to 3 a day. this will make it so that all the spammers will shut up after the first ten min. there online (; secondly... do something so that players will experience more fun, and try new battle areas. they have been the same since beta times. and whenever you say items are "rare" make sure they are actuly rare. not something that comes back once a week. like in charfades shop. thirdly... do somthing about all this name calling. i mean if you have to have a mod sit outside of world 7 oz all days then do it.. i mean it gets annoying if i dont fame them they either try to faulse report me, and call me a noob. although it doesnt affect me it gets annoying -_- 4th of all... make it so there are more non varium weapons... non varium members are player just like all of us.. but dont either want to waste their money on some of the stupid and useluss things AE does. or cant afford to have varium.. and the reason why most f2p members quit, is because they cant win most of the time because there weapons suck. they give horrible stats, and they look stupid. and lower the price on enhancements. Epic Duel has alot of things they need to fix, if they ever want it to be like the beta days where members enjoyed playing.. just think about it..

p.s. mods or archknights feel free to delete this, im just saying you need to do alot of work, if you ever want this game to be fun for all players again. dont you think?

These 3 points, I would totally disagree with.

Back in Beta, all I experienced was aggresive kids who would spam noob whenever they lost.
Saying that the game is not fun anymore, actually doesn't have anything to do with Beta. It's about personal opinion.
And hey! Do you remember why three stars and a sun got disbanded? Because their leader got banned, and so did most of the faction because they cheated their way to where they were. No doubt they were good, but good was apparently not enough.

1. I don't think theres been days where someone hasn't been called a noob.
2. Yes, when it was fun & it was fun to have a challenge.
3. Miss it. I doubt I had many fun days in Gamma while I played.
4. The now most annoying thing since "Let me win PLZ". (Cause you can get asked in & out of battle)
5. You still can, just ignore the people who ask you & carry on talking with you're friends. (Would be better if they didn't ask though) xD
6. Nope. Gamal was a cheater the people on the Leader board now are Legit, why would anyone want to change it?
7. They ruled dummies not the game. Except for some in the faction who are most likely ruling the game now. =P
8. 3rd time you mentioned fame. Getting annoying like in-game, lol.

I miss the days when I didnt get an idiot partner that caused me to loose and then noobs on other team called me noob and looser and bla bla bla... -.-

 I think this is a case of "they changed it, now it sucks". Changes in the makeup of the community are not the direct fault of the administrators- but there has never been a time when players weren't jerks. I seem to remember threads in alpha complaining about this very thing! Fame spamming has become a problem, yes. About as bad as "let me win plz, I'm in arcade" when the arcade first came out.

I'm not downplaying your concerns, just pointing out that there was no golden age of EpicDuel where everyone was nice to everyone else. 3 Stars and a Sun was a massive dummying ring, Oz world 8 was always full of spammers asking you to let them win, or to give them elite/varium, or generally creating a nuisance.

getting past all the people seeking fame, I actually think the game is actually more fun, for me anyway, cuz it's competitive, everyone one modding b uilds to get that one perfect combination for destruction hardly ever see anyone called noobs anymore, except for those who really are after bonehead moves, or not having scoped out an enemies def and res (but thats another canof worms entirely), quite frankly it doesnt bother me when people ask for fame, if it bothers you that much then it must really sick to be you, your life must be in constant turmoiul for reapeated words to offend you, internet memes must send you into a tizzy then don't they

Its not calling them a dummy, they were dummying, using software instead of playing it normally and enjoying it that way, like everyone else should

well i can agree with u but i havnt been playing epicduel in a while the F4F thing must be fricken annoying. And isnt thier a spamming thing where u get muted 4 saying 1 thing 3 or more times?

 i joined on december 23rd 2009, people still flamed on the updates we got on the old forums as much as we did now. Its nor better nor worse, remove agility and focus and everything will be peachykeen.

Although i do miss three stars and a sun, and btw, the lowercase three stars and a sun is still here, DDavid is the only member in it that isnt banned. He is still active and loyal to the faction. World 8 was also better than world 7.

Three Stars and A Sun was nothing more than a joke. They were a bunch of cheaters who didn't even know how to fight. Their names will forever go down in history as losers. Let's try to remember some honorable factions like Legit, and Black Knights of Chaos

Those times were the best when there was no joke war system which completely destroyed this game, it turned fighting into profit.

Kind of like real wars. But thats why its a game right :)

I do miss beta...alot...sometimes more than others. I wish the devs would get back to doing what they said they would do, and I wish players would stop being so...snarky for lack of a better word. Fact is however, there has always been faction fighting, name calling etc. I guess its just all part of the pvp/multiplayer experience, and will probably never see an end. Beta...those were the good ole days though, when you didnt have to spend hundreds on varium to win ^^

 What ruin game was when legion side never had fair start. they never even out faction influence to same as exile. most people think savagekillers you see now is not first savagekillers but it was remake.

angle. allthough that is true, thats not the point of this post, the point of is it AE need to quit trying to make a quick buck, and actuly make enjoyable things for the game. not some war stuff, and fames. those things ruined the game and causeing alot more spammers. and in my opinon they need to make this game more like the beta days, and take out all of the useless crap they put in this game. that will forever ruin this game.

 above if I remember it was unfair for non varium players. cause we had to wait over 2 months to get level 31 weps. so was so fair then too.
