I'm a level 27 non varium.

I spent 3 weeks (like 1 yr ago) playing, even on school nights, I would sneak up and play 'till 1:00 am, get 6 hrs of sleep and hup to school.

I got from level 1 to level 26 in 3 weeks.

Then I kinda stopped for a while kuz no weps came out, and credits are too hard.

About 1 yr later, I'm level 27. I see no point in trying. I always lose. No matter how many times I change my build, I don't have enough credits for the next wepaon i want (7 credits for a loss, I need like what, 6000 credits? Go figure!)

I play against varium level 32s almost always, and I always lose. No point in trying. No point now even to buy varium, if I wanted it in the first place.

For me, Epicduel is just to check out the bi-weekly releases.

Thats the whole point of the game. The Dev's made this game so that the non variums spend money on varium. Of course your gonna lose without varium, if you could win without it why would anyone pay?

but you might want to find a build to beat npcs and try to play in power hour

Speaking as a level 33 non-varium mercenary, I don't think it's all gloom and doom. With certain luck (Starting 1st, Critical), it's still possible for you to beat varium players.

However, every week more and more OPed varium items are introduced and all we get is some lame stuffs. At least give us some better weapons and armors so that the gap between varium and non varium players are not that HUGE?

Exactly.. Have to wait for another few months but wait!! By then variums would already have something much better so...

The core problem is that you can buy wins with real money. This isnīt fair but the
game never claimed to be fair. There could be other ways to finance this game but
maybe they dont bring so much money for the developers. This is not only a game,
its hard bussiness and all about making as much money as possible.

Agrees with granadelauncher. i took my time to recah 33 well not really i took 1 week to lvl up. all i see now are robo(5 focus build) everywhere. i find robo bh to be the hardest to beat because of thier luck skill called sa. most non var do not have a robot to use the devs did gave us robo but it is hard to get and frankly speking i would say ardcade is a scam.most non var are forced to abuse a stat by making the stats deminishing effects most non var felt the most pain. let me remind u teh best energy gun the devs made for us non var is hypertalon and its a very old gun we really need a new gun and maybe a robot or something. This game is slowly turning into P2P(pay to play) IMO. non var do not even get new hairstyles we are just fresh targets for the varium players. Varium players would say Enhancements could help the non var community the devs gave us 8 slots to enhance but can we fully enhance the 8 slot for the wep. the answer to that is no. no non var can enhance 8 slot unless they were a merc(y mercs cause arty had no dex requirment and u know wat does that mean for us) and been playing since early beta(yeah i can enhances 8 solt but i choose to enhance 2 weps and fire cannons instead and i also got a bike and a few weps). there not many of these people in game. gamma non var players can bearly enhance thier weps unless they play 12 h a day.

One major problem is that when a high level (in this case level 32-33) Varium weapon gets released, no non varium weapons get released. Non variums are fighting with gear that's 1-2 levels lower than the newest varium gear, no wonder so many of us feel underpowered.

Non varium players should have same level gear as the varium players. Of course the stats of the non varium gear would be lower, but that would even out the playing field.

@grenade Launcher: Show me your build, don't bother if its a bunker build because thats how i won my robot, a bunker crit from the guy who told me to vote him for president

Yes, it's a bunker build. How are you supposed to kill varium players since now we can't abuse strength?

The chances of winning overall in the arcade is 27%, and chances of winning a jackpot is around 2% of that 27%.

Not very unlikely.

And oddly enough, my build request thread got an answer of a Bunker build :P

well the chances of getting bots are too be very lucky... jus luck nothin more
another thing they hav to release sum gud zookas tht giv dmg of atleast 36
now adays varium zookas are 38 dmg and we non vars are stuck with 34 dmg
which makes atlot of difference and to make some gud armors for us i mean it 's been reeeaaallllyyyy
long tym and the varium get a new armor like every month
this is pretty much not cool they cud make some decent gun

I really feel non variums are complaining...
if you make a alt that is non varium you win like 500-80 in 1v1
and 400-125 in 2v2....
like my alt

i am semi varium (only varium armour) i have str mage build and i get a decent 70% ratio except the fact i stand no chance vs varium smoke/5 focus bounty and tank/5 focus merc. even semi variums dont get a great chance. you gotta be full varium to win.

variums are as strong as ever. they get promo uber weapons every month. now other parts of sets are being released as promo (eggzookas - aux) by the end of the year variums will have a whole set of ubers and will be unstoppable

Alright let me sum it up to all of you non-varium and varium users out there.
I hate to say it but the odds are against NON-VARIUM users. The game is made to make a profit and not provide only entertainment for everyone. Non-varium players definitely have the disadvantage over players who spend money on varium because:

1. There is a wider variety of weapons with better stats
2. More weapons for higher levels
3. Other incentives such as battle boost and robots

I also agree that it's hard (but not impossible) for non-varium users to win against varium users if you are facing the same level or a few levels below (few levels above is a whole another story). Now if you are a Merc you may stand a decent chance and thats only if you have a good build and items for your level. Also sorry to say this but Bounty hunters and Mages have lesser chances (the weapons and items available do not compare that great to those of Mercenary-based items. I am saying all of this in-terms of just basic stats (no, criticals, blocks, or luck)

i have to agree with you that unless you are a full varium user, you wont stand a chance in the future due to overpowered varium items vs limited to none non-varium items. Thats actually would not be a problem because this is a PvP after all and things like this are most likely to happen. There might be more game updates in the future which may help in balancing the game.

But for those of you that still complain that non-varium users are weak and unfairly treated (in-terms of game weapons, stats, ect) compared to varium-users, YOU TOO CAN AQUIRE VARIUM FOR FREE. you can complete Offers to earn free battleon points and with those earn varium.
Of course people who cannot complete offers due to age and country restrictions, then you seem to be out of luck.

Also for those of you that CAN complete offers and earn the free battleon points: Let me tell you that about 1/4 of the offers that you complete hold a risk for you computer if you are not careful. Most of them may have adware yet a few of them do contain viruses, malware, spyware, tracking cookies, and potential threats. Artix Entertainment also mentioned to use at your own risk. So yeah..... not a very wise way to get varium in my opinion.


Yes, it does seem unfair for non-varium players but it's how things are. The game only benefits from people who are willing to pay to play, and not from free players. It would not make too much of a difference if free players get benefits or not. If the varium-users suffer, the game suffers.

P.S. i am a non-varium user so dont try to assume i'm saying this from a single-point of view.

I'm kinda in the middle, between both sides, because I only have gamma bot equipped, and everything else is non-varium and not enhanced (should change once I get to level 27 and accumulate enough credits).

Honestly, I think that non-varium items should be slightly buffed. The power of non-varium items is like 75% of the power of varium items. That should be brought up to 85%, if not 90%.

That way, non-varium users can catch up, but not too much to give varium users a disadvantage.

I also think that there should be more than 2 bots, and there should be a bot for non-varium users, albeit slightly weaker.

2% huh. In this case, the chance of winning jackpot is equivalent to you trying critical a support merc who has more than 120 support.

FrostLich bought varium for enhancements and an assault bot, which are all feasible without paying. He just took a shortcut.


Oh, and people, you forgot Enhancements. Another reason Variums are uberpowered.

Non-Varium server is the best solution for this problem, considering level 28's are allowed to use level 32 weapons >.>.
