Banking like in the real world for me is the process of placing money in a certain place if you have too much to hold in your pockets. Well in Epic Duel, alot of players are getting hacked and falling for scams because of them thinking people are trustworthy and the scammers being perceptive. I've seen more than 30 people fall for it every 2 months and it's quite sad and shameful for them to see all their hard work being torn apart with all the items sold and the varium if they have any. As a matter of fact, I thought of something for ED that might not only store your items if your inventory is getting full but also storing credits, varium and battle tokens in it......with a password in your bank? What's the point? It's this. If Titan and Nightwraith were to create a bank for ED and that you will need to create a password to open it, wouldn't it mean that even if the hacker opened your account, he/she must have to also open the password for the bank if all the items were sold there? Here's an example

My colorful account King FrostLich has been here since December 2009 and if I were to retire, I will place ALL my credits, varium and items including battle tokens in the bank of ED with another password placed on the bank to open it, if it ever be implemented. 10 days later, a hacker manage to get my password through his so called hacking skills and opens my account but somehow finds it empty containing only 1 credits with alot of energy packs. What does he do? It's simple. The hacker finds my account worthless and deems it worthless.

This isn't a suggestion only, it's also a discussion whether banking in ED(no loaning) will not only make us happy of storing items but also make hacking twice as difficult and will at least make the Lawman happier for getting lesser messages in his inbox. So what do you think? Is it good for this feature to happen?

True but the password in the bank won't be numbers. You can make your own just as long as you can remember it. Oh and if you think it's Runescape don't expect trading to happen because trading will ruin this game.

This would be helpful to many people including me, but I can't see ED ever implementing this idea .

Interesting... this actually sounds like an improvement to the system that is bank system that is currently being used in DF, AQW, and HS. I'm not sure how this would work out (we'd probably need a banking system similar to the ones in previously mentioned games first), but if implemented, this feature could provide players with another place to put their items, and an extra layer of security.

However, this would make extra inventory slots obsolete; this feature would essentially give players unlimited space to store their items. Also, it would be unfair to non-Varium players (unless ED did things differently, and made this feature available to all players instead of just the ones who pay).

Of course the bank is for everyone Lectrix. I'd get very mad if my hunter alt won't get it if its only for varium players plus, a bank in ED won't mean storing alot of items. Maybe 200 slots will be worth it for non variums like they can store entire amount of health boosters and place it there instead of going back to Mirv buying it.

This feature should be available to all players. But players who purchased extra inventory slots may feel that they wasted their money, and future players would have little reason to purchase more inventory slots.

Well, though yours is basing off the items players buy, I don't think there should be purchasing bank slots I mean, its ridiculous tbh and no it doesn't COMPLETELY destroy the main function of inventory slots. The bank is used for storing valuables or pretty much if your gonna be inactive you can just place all your items in the bank in case a hacker might hack your account.

umm.. nice suggestion. But why can't we make the inventory password protected. You can save your password (as it will annoy some players to type the pass multiple times) and when you logg on from a different ip , it will ask for your password again. This way the people who bought inventory space won't feel cheated :)

Everybody's happy

@The Shadow Creeper

Well not really, I also spent some for inventory slots oh and if your going for treasure hunter, iIt should only include the items that are IN your inventory not the ones in the bank to make things alot fair for those who think buying invetory slots was useless.

What if you forget the password to poen the bank.

But i think its the best idea ever!
If anyone says that that will give me free varium i will put every item i have in my bank and give them my pass (lets see if they actually will buy me it :P). They will go on my account dissapoointed. BUT the best thing is that it discourages scamming.

I support the idea . :D

If this happens , will there be a SECONDARY PASSWORD? If there is , then that's excellent.

Im not sure if this idea improves security because 99,9% of all hacks are scams and not hacks.
They occur because players share their login data or have weak passwords.

AQW for example has the weakness that the character name is identical with the account name.

This is a good idea, but their could be problems if someone forogt their bank password but personally that would be the price to pay of a great feature like this was introduced

^ Thats not bad.

Or they could switch all inventory slots into Banking Slots.
And leave inventory as defualt and give a starting free 10 banks slots to all players.

Perfect idea. This way if the scammer or hacker hacks your account or takes your account info they still wont know your bank password and even if the hacker tryied to hack it thanks to Titan for adding a patch of extra coding it will make it harder for hackers to hack the game also since all your stuff is in the bank they wont know what you have. You could be a totally useless noob to them and they would eventually give up and leave your account for good. This idea is perfect.

This is actually similar to an idea that I just thought of.

It goes like this: When you place an item from your inventory into the bank, you would lose that inventory slot and gain a bank slot. Then when you take the item out of the bank, you regain that inventory slot, but lose the bank slot.

This way, you would have the same number of bank slots as inventory slots, but your items could only be in one place at one time. Therefore, purchasing more inventory slots would increase your bank slots at the same time. No one's hurt, and everyone's happy.

I definitely like this idea, but with Lectrix's add-on where you need inventory slots for bank slots.
Maybe it could also have free varium item storage, just like AQW.
