@edvard
every other tac merc i fought during the first hour of delta had either max hybrid, max reroute and max poison or a heal loop build.
i never saw any other str tac merc.

cookie cutter builds are purely for those going for a 90+% win rate when players dont care about win rates they use random builds for experimentation and if they find one thats works they use it and if it works well enough it becomes a cookie cutter build so its an evil cycle

If they were to implement this into the game, then what about the newbies who just start into the game?

They do not even understand the theory on defense and resistance, having them have to fully understand the game before playing sucessfully would hurt the game because people will get annoyed and quit..

Whats really the point in this ? Basically your saying we walk into a battle and guess their build? *thumbs down* Cele's idea is best at hand if you havent seen it look at page 1 or page 2 idk whats its on ...

@beastmo
i did see it, and i guess its the best i can get out of this idea :/
however look at my new topic about modes.
making new hard core modes where u cant see the enemy's build (thats why its hard core)
and its a completely optional mode.

u cant see builds in AQW.
however u can slowly begin to tell what the build is in battle or outside battle.
i cant see what their enhancements are, but i can tell what they are with enough time.

You can't possibly compare AQW to ED. In AQW every class has only 4 usable skills (except no class) so you know the counter build for them by simply looking at their class. But in ED every class has 12 skills AND you can put different number of skill points into each skill, which makes it nearly impossible to find a counter strategy.

I have to strongly disagree with this. You cant help noobs and noobs cant improve and learn from a better player if you cant see their build to help them improve it. Also if we go into battle we will be blind. Also like others have said I mean no flaming or trolling but this arguement is very weak you are not making good comparisons at all. On top of that how the heck can someone estimate their opponets stats and skill tree? By their class or their looks? Oh yeah that will work. I mean seriously just no. This is may be one of the worst ideas I have ever heard IMO.

@aqw
well then i guess now u know why AQW pvp is just that much more intense and more of a challenge.

@isai
dont be stupid use ur head.
Damage Calculations
Classes
just because u cant use ur head doesn't mean others cant.
u can tell what lvl their skill is and how much defense and offense they have by ur defense/res and attack from energy and physical types.

maybe u should have read the other about hard core modes.
i offered a solution to stop people from copying builds (which like over half of this forums complains about before) and people didn't like it.
so i modified it into a new mode hardcore mode, where ur enemy cant see ur build and u cant see his.
and where block, crits and deflection is reduced and ur HP and energy possibly doubled to have longer matches and give players the challenge and experience they want.
check this thread out Hardcore Modes
im sure u will like ti since its completely optional and theres no reason to say no. while giving players who WANT a challenge, a challenge.

@aqw
well i liked aqw pvp. however it took so long ot bring 1 vs 1 that i got so detached from it and came to ED because pvp was lacking over there.
pure piles in bloodrutbrawl.
while in ED they had challenge-able fights, and 1 vs 1

@Gold That is far to much math and thinking no one wants to have a headache per match no one would play ED knowing you would have to do math the ENTIRE battle just to compete. That would basically turn ED into one of those "fun" kid math sites because it be like "Hi kids!! We use math,luck and guessing to do our battles! Here at Epic Duel! The Duels revole around math,luck and guessing" I mean who would want to play? I am not trying to flame you but seriously I cant agree with this. The game would be no fun at all going into each battle having to use tons of math. This is Epic Duel not Math Duel.

@isaia
ok well dude i turned this idea into hardcore modes where u cant see enemy build in hard core.
so im not suggesting this anymore.

i already told u that i turned it into hardcore modes (as suggested in several threads in the suggestion forum)
so no point in saying u agree or disagree.

hardcore mode = for smart people. so u can play on regular if hard core is too hard for u.

can someone lock this?

Locked requested. ~Mecha
