Mages UP?

Recently I've been testing out allot of new builds for Mages, And I found out that they are not UP one bit. I can actually beat TLM most of the time. And most of my weapons are outdated. So that proves that mages are good. You just got to know the right build. And try not to act like any other classes. A mage has to be a mage. So does anyone else agree with me that mages aren't UP? Or do you disagree ? Why ?

( But I still think the caster spells need a buff.)

I agree mages are not UP, and caster skills should get a buff.

 They never wore, although many switched after Heal Loop died.

Now, it takes strategy to win with this class, which is why many consider it UP.
Also how slow it is to get wins.

You guys are contradicting yourselves and by saying Mages are not underpowered is not helping yo improve the class.
If the Caster skills need a buff then they are underpowered.
Malfunction is what give the mage its power, I have tested weapons and skills with and without malfunction and it is a big difference in damage.

The mages you see get to the top of the leader boards use high support and the reason this is for increase malfunction and Aux, not one of them will you see carrying a staff but a sword.

So when a mage could win the daily 1vs1, 2vs2 or any battle mode with a staff only and above 90% win ratio, that is when the mage will not be underpowered.

I am not contradicting myself, I never said Mages were OP. I've always stood behind this class as being balanced, and that is what I am stating now. The caster skills need a buff because they lack damage. This doesn't mean the class is under powered just because some of their skills are. I use the effective skills given to me such as Malfunction and Reroute, one which you have stated, and I am successful.

Yes, most Mages now use Support builds with a sword but that doesn't mean there aren't effective builds that use a stave. My stave build consists of high dex and minimum support (18-22). The main skills used are Assimilation, Malfunction, Overload, and Reroute. The Gamma Bot is used as a side attack. I actually have a SS(screen-shot) of a day I decided to try and get on the LB with it. I was 4th place with 302 wins and a 94.4%. I wasn't going for 1st place so that is pretty good if you ask me.

You can reply to this, but I am off to sleep (4:30a.m, ouch!) so don't expect a quick reply.

 as you guys said its uped bcz it needs a lot of strategy and i noticed that thats right cz when im sleepy i lose when im awake focusing on the game i win :)

as a mage i have 95% + with all the lag and stuf .... but the thing about mages is VERRY SLOW WINS :)

Celestine, I was referring to the other players posting here, if they say"mages are not UP, and caster skills should get a buff. " that is contradicting themselves because if mages are not underpowered then why would the caster skills need a buff.
Myself I use a staff all the time and use good dex and good tech build. I have beaten support mages and beaten every abusing stat build out there many times. They try to beat me with the Gamma Bot but they fail.

So people make up your mind whether or not the mage class is underpowered or not and if they are not underpowered then we need to tell Titan or Cindy Mages need no improvements and do you really want that. They take what players write into consideration so think before you type.

Mages are Underpowered. They have more disadvantages then any other class in the game. That is why they need a Caster Skill buff. Because that half of their skill tree is what is useless at high levels making them Uped at high levels only being forced into one build with half of their skill tree requiring a staff and 4 out of 12 skills being useless. While they also only have like 3 to 4 staffs that are phsyical still being at a disadvantage.

 Mages can compete, this is no question.

The issue is the variety of build making is not as flexible as other classes. We don't have skills that breakdown opponents like the tact. merc, merc and bh do.

In the skills that we do have, they are good, but build management and strategy are very important.

Mages are a class that is underpowered in overpowered builds. Doing high damage is very difficult, but patient damage, as a class, mages are efficient. Built for patience and time, or at least it was. :)

 mages can compete i even have a video up on youtube of my first three fights in over a month i won two of them i lost to a Full tank total STR spam TLM i beat a tanking Full founder CH(FDMA and Beta gear most likely full enhanced by the number of Stat mods) and some poor newbie
