i would also like to see some new lvl 33 non varium weaps i see a large gap still and i belive that they need some better weaps like what independence day weaps were back for lvl 31 i think that the community needs time to grow to lvl 33 with new lvl 33 weaps and we need time to stableize everything before throwing the community into another "grind battles to lvl" time

Everything sounds good but for some reason I'm not so happy about the possibility of level 34 being introduced so shortly after 33.

I've been seeing too many of these "It may not be big content wise but its a big step!" releases. If your still wrestling with balance and the code frame why was the game released in the first place? Things like that really should be fixed up before you release an MMO. Otherwise, as you've experienced, the time gap between content releases will be too vast for the player and they'll have to suffer imbalance for long periods of time. During that time, many people will just give up on the game and leave. Simply increasing the level won't solve anything either. It will just give the players who joined the game and possibly paid for the game a small boost of reason to play while increasing your plate of balance problems. In my opinion, you should shut down ED for a year, with the players approval, and spend a large amount of time sorting everything out. Perhaps even rearrange the stats of the var seasonals and promo items so that they compete equally against each other just with different stats.

Don't get me wrong, I see great potential in ED. It just seems to be going down a track that's unfavorable for its development. Please consider my suggestion if you get the chance to read it, I'm not trying to be malicious in any way. I'm just stating my opinion and hoping for a brighter future for ED.

I'm hoping for 34. I would pop some points into my defense that I'm probably going to lose do to re balancing/uber nerfing. Whatever you wish to call it. Also it's a bit strange to have a Delta Maul then not be able to use it in full power.

Really not looking forward to lvl 34. I dont even know where to put the next skill point in.

why not just be original and raise it to 35 or 40? raising 1-2 level at a time is pretty pointless if you ask me..

They made the delta weapons like that because it makes since to assume level 34 would be released in delta making the weapons top of the line untill 35. But I think releasing a level rise this soon is a really bad idea and they should reconsider doing this considering how much negative feedback it has created.

I can't wait for the upcoming balance changes; it will certainly encourage diverse builds (such as caster mages). The buffs of the multis could open up many possibilities as well; cyber hunters will have the advantage of being able to use a malf+multi combination. It will be interesting :).

I don't think that they should consider raising the level cap yet. There's many reasons for this. Firstly, there's currently only 12 level 33 weapons, and that's including rares but excluding armours. Our current weapons might become outdated already and if they make some more level 34 weapons, people will just be forced to buy the new weapons in order to 'keep up' with the others. It's best to try and solve some of the pricing issues first or possibly refrain from making level 34 weapons for a period of time. Some sort of system that allows older weapons to remain usable in battle might be a possibility as well. Raising the level cap can cause more balance problems as well; people will have 4 extra skill points. That means that 5 focus players can now use 100+ hp with 45 in every stat, it means people using strength builds can add more strength, people using support builds can add more support etc. I know that levelling up gives us something to do, but it's way too early to consider it now.

This week's balance changes should be great, the refined code should ensure great new features can come soon and I don't think that they should raise the level cap yet.

Good, making me level up will help my need in more stats but this is gonna pose a medium threat to non tactical mercenary juggernauts if one varium player is lvl 31.

so we get crapped on the forums
and something good ingame -.-
doesn't sound like a fair trade

i hope these features are worth it.
because with all the stuff thats been going on.
INCLUDING LAGG (yes thats right i said lagg. so what?)
and all the new rules on the forums, idk if its worth wasting my time anymore.

Well I don't think the percentage changes in the game will affect strength TLM's that much. I mean that will only affect one of their skills. I think the problem is the damage of their normal strike, it is way too devastating for those without a P armor or a high defense matrix. A strength spammer's rage is too powerful, and if you put a shield on them, they will get it within 4 turns.

So if they raise the level cap, only the players who bought the $50 pack will have access to level 34 weapons?

well in a way it does cause we are the ones donating so i think we should have first hands on 34 weapons seems pretty fair to me
