Well str requirements for reroute?
I don't think it will work since it's just like you ruin casters or heal loopers.

sylar67 by the looks of it your an fellow 2 vs 2 player i agree about aux 4 turn cool down but 2 turn warm up is abit harsh even the 4 turn cool down alone should help stop the op tat merc support abusers.

easiest thing to do:

give str req in artillery
give support req in maul and frenzy

^ ahahhahahahahhahah 1st i get sick when i play 2vs2 i once got banned for swearing at the noobs in 2vs2 when i got my daily ;)

and to all of you im a tact merc with the best weapons in game and i find myself verry overpowered im mainly a mage just changed to tac for a few weeks for fast wins :) i dont know if a 400 wins 98% isint oped ...

just relax and let the ED Balance Team do their job, both wiseman and ashari stated they are well aware of how unbalanced support is, they just
don't want to roll out a bandaid fix like they did with agility for heal loop mages. I have full confidence the final fix for support will be great.

The stat values and skill ratios themselves are inherently unbalanced.

Stat Inflation renders all these ideas useless because the inflation of stats makes meeting the requirements that much easier, therefore making stat requirements diminish in their power to restrict.

Xendran and Khimera have already made the ultimate solution to most if not all of ED's problems.

@above: I think they'll merge this topic into the balance thread.

i played as a str build mage for a lont time like 3 weeks or so.. and i wont 100 wins out of 150 and its a fast kil build btw i vsed ALOT OF TLM, SUPPORT and won 3/4 of them

against supp TLM try to take away their energy , and try to hold their energy below the field medic's requirement

against str TLM use reflex boost , so you will block a lot

Here's what I'd do, since what you said makes TM's underpowered.
I'd just put a 1 turn warm-up turn for everyone.
TM's will apply Malfuncion which won't do any harm to them, and the TLM's who abuse the stat would be settled for the initial turn.
But still, that would lead to Merc's becoming even less effective.
So, then a code to allow Merc's to use the Aux in the first turn,
And that would make a lot of coding and make the data transfer even worse.

@Reyes: 150 fights is not really what you can call proof. just saying. also you could of just faced a ton of bad tac mercs. theirs literally thousands of them.

They arn't good if they don't crit. You should just do something with the crit.

@edward: they did :) crits were changed quite a bit. its one tiny step of many, towards balance.

Actually, I have seen less crits. More stuns though, 90% of times I get stunned.

ALL TACTICAL I VSED WAS VARIUM USERS WITH DELTA VWEPS i think i have a video of it let me check and i will put it on youtube then here

What about supporting Mercs? If support gets cripple for TLM's then it's cripled for Mercs which can't do anything because in short that's the only effective build for them.
It ain't my fault for people to support the game ;)

@reyes: buying good items doesn't automatically make you a good player. and seeing as the vast majority of players chose tact merc,
that tells me their must a ton of bad tac mercs. I have seen it first hand too. if the class wasn't supremely powerful you wouldn't see so many.

Somehow, I believe that Massacre should be able to be used with a sword. You know, just chop your opponent many many times as the attack animation, with a sword thrust as the "final blow".

Just suddenly appeared in my head. "Massacre + Sword = :) "

And I agree with you.
Actually a lot of skills can be used with sword if wanted.
Cheap Shot - Leg first and then the double strike animation.
Massacre - What you said.
Venom Strike - It can be a 1 hit poison applyer, aswell.

@Joe: certain skills are restricted from sword because swords get more stats.

you are not getting sword massacre :)
