yea i would say more like 80%
reason why......
because TLM is the "simple" class
as in no tactics or strategy needed to make an ultimate build.

Overall, 35 ish. In response to those who call tlms newbs and such....
Meh. This game is about winning. You can debate about which class is the best, which is worst, which is the most pathetic, which one is the most noobish, whatever. People are obviously going to choose the easiest and fastest way to success which, at the moment, is TLM. I'm a tech Mage. I feel everyone's pain out there, because I've tried every class, and failed time after time against multiple versions of the Tac Merc. But I've learned something over the years,and that's if you truly want to rise up against against the most OP class, you can't sit here and complain all day (which, I've done quite a ton of). You have to suggest solutions to the problem. You have to develop new builds, put together new strategies. Instead of complaining, let's come together and See if we can't find a way to stop these guys ourselves. You can't depend on the devs to fix every single thing for you. Quit griping, start slayin' is all I'm sayin'. (w0rd :P)

if it was just lvl 30+ then it would be around 75% tlm's but since its not a starting class overall it would be around 30-35% of the epicduel community who are tlm's

 Turk your right alot of people saying TLM is OP'ed and such most likely dont use creative builds either but even with Creative build unless you have a new way to create 5 focus being TLM's as a whole is a challenge now if you focus on just support just tank just STR not so much

Remember, insanity is the process of doing something over and over and expecting different results (there are exceptions like lottery tickets but then again you would be insane to earn money by playing the lottery).

Sorry I meant to direct that at people trying to dominate tactical mercenaries, but failing. Only to become frustrated, trying again and again with the same build and finally complaining for their misfortune.

 true if you dont adapt your build you are destined to lose which is why for teh past three days ive made 15 builds and im finally sticking to one

There are a lot of TlM around. Thankfully, most of them have no clue what they are doing.
Use some strategy and you should beat most of the clueless players and split 50% with the good players. That seems about fair for a PvP game.

since non vars can't become tlm's, i would say the number is closer to 40%. but tstill, that number is outragios

@one winged angel I disagree. I had an anti str build that proved 100% successful. Now, EVEN SO, focusing on dexterity will kill you off in any other battle. You know what? I agree. TLM is NOT over powered. Now, what IS overpowered, is HYBRID ARMOR. Because without it, they drop like flies. It is wrong to nerf a class because of one build, but it was the TLM people who chose to abuse that build. Hence, if it is nerfed, well that's they're (maybe your, I'm not sure what class you play as) Fault.

@above That's wrong. There are players who HAVE switched, and haven't spent a penny on Varium. Look on the leaderboards, there's one there. you know who she is.
Otherwise, there are many of them. A faction member of mine, for instance. I'd be more specific, but we aren't permitted specifying people on the forums, as far as I am aware.

@OWA that seems reasonable.

 @nic im a TM who focuses on odd builds but I'll take the blame for Hybrid nerf as there is only one of me and it would be really hard to find me(drop off the map for a month, change my IP, start using a proxy, <insert other hiding method here>)
Nic your right the passive skills people have to much need for them my best point is TM's Deadly aim is needed for a TM build correct. Incorrect i have a 50%+ build(had retrained for an NPC build but I'll go back once im done beaing NPC bosses) that didnt have a single point in DA, or Plamsa Rain or Overload for that matter. And seeing how Hybrid was just buffed it is highly unlikely it will be nerfed but how about we rearange some skills on the TLM tree and make Hybrid Tier Four so you have to put points down to get to it and to max hybrid armor it would take 12 points instead of the current nine.


@Narej ive fought a handful of F2P TLM's over teh past few days while they are not nearly as good as their Varium counter parts they are potent enemies indeed

In all reality I would say 55% is TLM, 20% Bounty Hunter, 15% Merc, 6% Tech Mage, 2% Cyber Hunter, and 2% Blood Mage. I'm a Blood Mage so I'm in that 2% area, and I personally believe why TLM, Bounty Hunter, and Merc's % is so high is because, 1st TLM is a no brainer class meaning it takes no real effort to make a effective build with that class, 2nd Bounty Hunter is a excellent class for 1v1 and used to be in the spot TLM is in now therefore leaving a heavy amount of them around, and 3rd Merc is a simple but powerful class for Non-Variums to use in 2v2 therefore making it popular in the Non-Varium community. As far as the others go, Tech Mage is a skiller class making it one of the least popular because most people want easy and tech mage isn't always easy, Blood Mage is similar but has a Strength/skill approach to it making it a unusual class to work with, and as far as Cyber hunter goes it's also a skill class waiting to be born meaning when it was created it was considered to be a "mentally retard imbreed baster child" no one wanted and is now slowly being created into the cute little African child everyone wants to adopt.

These are my ideal statistics/theories of how the classes weigh in EpicDuel.

I find the builts discussions particulary funny.

This is a child game. Rated 10 years old. How can you be proud of making a working built ? It is easy. It was made easy on purpose to reach their target audience.

There is nothing to be proud of here. It is a simple game who requires the most basic of math skills.

Cyber Hunter and Bounty Hunter high tech abuse +4 builds with high health work well for me ^_^
