So, I've been thinking about this a lot, and I feel like I should prop up another game. I have two ideas:

-Bring back an old game (LvD Tournament, The Eight, etc)
-Make an entirely new game

Note: The latter will take a bit longer, since I have to sort out lore and all that.

Personally I would like to see an old game brought back up, preferably LvD. Always liked that game, but it never really got as far as it could have.

Well, I wasn't exactly as "seasoned," if you would call it that, back then as I am now. I think last LvD, I accepted twenty+ people. Probably a primary reason as to why it didn't really flourish.

I think it was more like 12, which is still a lot.

I suggest a new game for now, then LVD for when a certain someone I really want to fight returns to our merry community.

That would mean either starting a game, then just locking it because someone returns, or running three games. I really don't want to do either.

Meh. Seems like the popular choice. I'll get on that later, when I have time. Who knows, maybe a few UCaG vets will pop up out of nowhere and join up. One can dream, no?

Expect some changes to the Colosseum, along with traveling. The LvD world was basically whatever popped into my mind at the time. I think I'll have to confine you guys to Arena City (the name I came up with after like, four years). You guys kinda ambled off whenever some place piqued your interest. Hell, Heroic Necro ended up some Elven forest I don't think I even named.

To be fair, I did that specifically to get something that would help me fight my opponent.

Hello everyone, I'm back from spending six days at the kiddy insane asylum. I'm deeply sorry for not updating/posting, this was unexpected. So, disregarding that does anyone have a preferred game element they would want to play?

Gone for the weekend, since I'll be going out with family. I'll be able to post, but I don't think I'll have time to update my games.

This place is empty, and I have a lot of free time, so I'm beginning to write up a game. I'm planning a post zombie apocalypse type thing. Zombies have been done to death, I know, but I don't think I've ever seen anything set when the humans are beginning to take the world back. I just want your guys thoughts now. How many years after the initial infection should it be, how restored should society be, setting, etc.

be creative. we haven't had any creepy cave critters or cave societies, nor any big fantasy settings either, i.e. forest, desert, mountains. of what I have mentioned I can see forest and caves working really well with some sort of infection/monsters.

Just a question, but whats everyone's opinion of me and my games? Want to know if I should go with my eldritich-derived superhuman game or not. For those interested a simple grist of the game:

For years a dormant abomination has been used to advance human technology and medicine. From experiments the monster's DNA is capable of corrupting developing humans and mutating living beings from unchecked exposure. The United States faced a nation-wide panic as unsealed regenerative material took on hosts, slowly corrupting the lucky and immediate suffering for others.

From there the players are either uninfected humans, Elves (Eldritich means elf) or The Lost (Still sentient individuals who have monstrous bodies). The "Elves" are liable to becoming Lost, and the nature of the core abomination is a hive mind. Thus, all Elves and Lost are able to sense each other. In addition they can drain or transfer the level of infection between hosts, though this is risky and can never result in a uninfected human. Basically, too much of the core you'll become an abomination yourself. Too little and you won't have any special combat abilities.

That sounds cool, but, could we get special powers in the event we choose to play as a Lost?

Well, yes. You can have a wide range of abilities, the abomination may or may not be the universe's God. Lost are much more powerful than Elves, but also far more deranged and murderous.

Have we had a time-travel game?

Just asking, because I want you guys to try out a recently-created game of mine, The Configuration.

*flies off from shameless advertisement and promotion*

My second game ever, Slipstream, was time travel based.

From what I recall it involved random time travel and the players had to find a way home before they died from temporal stuff. I think they messed up an experiment that caused the whole mess, and they had to survive in the past and future.

Pretty much. I still have the write-up:

quote:

You were a group of scientists working on a top-secret project for the US military, attempting to develop a time-travel machine.Your experiments went awry, however, and the machine you created tore a hole in the fabric of time. This offset the balance of reality, and formed a Maelstrom that has sucked you down into the SlipStream of Time. Your corporeal bodies have been randomly scattered throughout time, each to a different point along the shore that borders the Stream. You estimate the machine will cease to function in approximately two weeks, but until then you will just have to survive.
