if you think no requirements or agility would be a good thing I might as well block you now and spare myself.

Pure strength blood mage or mixed? An advantage in dexterity to block negates dealt strike damage. A higher resistance or defence takes away from absorbed damage affecting blood lust. Mixed stats- strength w/ dexterity or strength w/ support? Phase A: They would excel in melee combat, yet they lose in terms of deflections... support, which would contain a domination of luck. Scare tactics with high cast or ranged damage forces withdrawal. Phase B: High damage blood mage with decent luck. Lacking defence, they would hope to be VERY lucky. They could drain health faster than type 1, but die faster. This type would lose mostly in melee.

TLMs of support: Good defence with HA and energy with reroute. Unless they have ALSO a fair FM and technology factor (... but this would detract from outgoing damage), they should be considerably weak against tanks (robotic tanks increase the ante). Their defences are a pass (but not great), their offence is great, but their tactics are lower. Loss of energy or being placed in the defensive position overthrows this type.

I said I knew enhacements arnt going to be removed I was just sugesting the cuase for the problem, also it wont lead to copy build infact the oppsiste, there was sooooooo much more variety and creativity during times of beta before enhacements it seems to ave had the opiisite effect to what you assume as more enhacemnts has lead to copy builds not the other way around.

Also I might just add its not hard to remove them, eg. create an enhacemnts sellback of 100% and make enhacemnts do nothing on wepons simple.

Im still surprised how most people cannot understand that it is enhacemnts that have caused the overpoewered builds and lack of variety and frankly im sick of explaing it.
But ill try one more time.

Before enhacemnts spaming build had a limit of power, they could spam to get great power but at great costs such as low defence low HP etc.

After enhacements the same spaming standard can be achieved with high defences, high hp etc.

This became a problem so stat diminishing was created wich counteracted the expansive enahcemnts in the first place meaning HOW ON EARTH ARE THEY A GOOD THING if it was the same bonuses given from stats before and after enchacements but unfortunatley these things (agialaity, forcing of focus, stats diminsihing, requiremnts..although this one does basically nothing) must continue to counteract the problems of abusing of piling, which in my opinion only occured after enhacements but Ill let you gusy decide how you think it started.



However stat diminishing was not enough, people still abused the extra gained power from piling without weakness and so came the requiremnts, constatnt requiremnts which have solved nothing as piling with extreme defences and High HP is still easy! even with requirements the extra stats from enchacements will always leave piling being abused even if they has a 5 focus build!

SO the end factor is now either enhacements must be removed which will never happen, so what else is left to do? take away the High HP (atempts to do this include agailty). Yet their is still problems , piliers can still have extremly high defences (such as TLMs) leaving how I got my end stance of needing to trade hyrbid for DM to make it ultimaitly return to the times before enhacements.

As you read this I hope some of you get an enlightining when you realise hey this is right, and anyoing balance features such as agialty dimishing stats and the need to become focus is a result of piling being abused with enhacemnts.

@above: actually we all heard you the first time but why suggest something that is directly profit related, knowing they are not gonna change it for that reason alone.

^ read my new explanation above. but You are right it is proberly the money factor preveting them from removing the worst balance ruininer of all time to the game.

Hybrid armor has to go. giving a class extra defences AND 45+ extra skill points is too much. the skill makes no sense whatsover.
it is a stand alone skill with no place in the game, both merc classes just need dex adding to a skill or two, so they can use dex builds too.

Its totaly corect ur post Remorse.Im agree with u, its going 2 be chaos when all skills going to have reguirements.
seriously for tlm could do reguir for smoke but for BH's?
My luck is I pwned TUNA(npc) with str build b4 the release *cought* :)

@psibertus So? Their is nothing wrong with Hybrid Armor. If you have a problem with a skill then how about you become that class and use it? Don't try to destroy it for one class just because you don't like the skill.

I hate it how just because everyone hates something they wanna destroy it. It seems like people are just jealous of the skill and want it added to their class instead. If you want the skill then simply go to the 2 classes that have it.

Hybrid does not need to be removed from the game, it does however need to be swapped away from TLMs as it has lead to them being oped and frakly if i have to expalin why agian il explode.

@TLM No way! I and every other TLM would lose passive 13 defence/resistence. Then our defense would be wide open. And if you replaced it with DM. Still we would have to rechange our builds. And then we would only have reroute as passive.

So.... Rechange your build then...
Less defences? Hell BM's/TM's and CH's/BH's don't have a Passive Defence yet they manage...

Low on defences, Train more Dex/Tech
Enough Said...

@Isaiah Every other class in this game doesn't use HA, yet we manage...
We're trying to avoid exactly that. The entire point of all these TLM threads are all about the same thing:
AVOIDING CHANGING TO TLM.
We have...issues beating them, but the entire game is composed of this one class. Making more will not help the situation.

@IsaiahtheMage: I have a varium tactical merc and a non varium tactical merc so no I don't want to destroy someones elses class, I want the game to be balanced.

I posted the math for Hybrid Armour twice before, you get over 45 extra stat points to spend on top of a passive +13 defence that can also switch to resistance.
it is gamebreaking. tactical merc has all the tools that any other class has, but also Hybrid armour and 45+ extra stats and you think that is perfectly ok ?

Hybrid Armour must go. regular mercenaries would then need a new skill or 2. my suggestion would be the old support debuff that was removed, just tweak it
and scale at least one skill with dex, so they have access to a dex build.

However hybrid does not need to be removed from all classes just TLMs for obvious reasons.
