Hi Everyone!

I'm the newest UCaG AK, so even though I figure most of you already know I thought it only fair to give you a chance to pester me ask me some questions. Since I don't expect this to get too many posts I'm not going to set a limit on posts-per-page, though I will ask that you keep it to a maximum of 15 questions per post. I reserve the right to refuse to answer any question I find inappropriate or overly personal. I will be editing with this color:

Who or what is Shreder and what makes you a Resident Raven?

Shreder (not to be confused with Shredder) is a talking raven, resident refers to what areas of the forums he tends to haunt. (L&L, DF EC and UCaG)

Are you a warmonger? If so, from where do you hail?

Though I greatly enjoy DF Wars I can't really make a claim to the Warmonger title.

Have you fought wars in Battleon?

Nope, I don't really play AQ all that much.

How do you feel about the near constant warring?

I can't speak for AQ, but I feel like the balance of wars in DF is about right. You don't want one all the time or they lose their luster, but on occasion they're both great fun and great for bringing the forumites together.

All time record in wars?

My best wars were before DF started the wave counter system, so I really couldn't tell you...

Proudest achievements in a war?

Can't really pin down one specific one, but the thrill when a war nears its close and everyone is racing to the finish is pretty awesome.

Would you care for a friendly spar?

Of what sort?

What would you do if Mystical Warrior offered a war race?

I'm assuming this refers to AQ? Cause I really have no idea.

Say the enemy had hired Cataclysm in war and you found yourself face to face with him on the
battlefield, what would you do?

What kind of fighter are you (warrior, ranger, mage, something else)?

I tend towards warriors, particularly tank-type warriors that can take lot of punishment and just keep coming. Glass-cannons have never really been my thing...

What abilities do you have and use in war?

Well my standard armor in DF is Frost Moglin, so I spend most of wars smacking my enemies with sugar-laden moglins and burying them in presents.

Primarily DF, though I dabble from time to time in some of the others as well...
Did you feel the need to make this MtAK after seeing Travis Touchdown's?
Not really. I thought about not making one, both because I'd already made three in other part of the forums and because I figured most people knew me, but then I remembered how much fun these things are, so I changed my mind.
How do you feel about crows?
They're alright...Not as intelligent as us ravens though.

Hey man, I'm just happy an UCaG forumite just got to be an AK, but you already did become an AK somewhere else, now did you?
Yes, in addition to UCaG I AK L&L and DF EC/Strat. I also used to AK AQW Q&A, but I stepped down a while back.
What first inspired you to make your first game idea?
My first game was inspired by Jules Verne's excellent book "Journey to the Center of the Earth".

How many times have you heard the standered raven joke to do with a certain 9 letter N word and do you find it funny?
Sometimes, if the occasion is right...
Have you ever read American Gods by Neil Gaimen? because that has a raven in it and I like the way he responds to being asked to say that. I can't post it here due to language.
I've heard of the book, but never read it. Maybe I'll have to look into that...
Also, i have terrible luck with in game rolls. I like how MQ has now added a persistence bonus thatr goes up with each fail. Any chance of asking your ebil superiors if there is any chance of such a thing occuring in AQ? Because it would REALLY help in a lot of things.
I don't really interact much with the AQ developers, to be honest...

Oh boy...where to start? Probably just make the world a better place in general. You know, fix the environment, make sure everybody gets along, eliminate famine and sickness, all that stuff.

Not likely, because if I edit someone's message I almost always sign my name as well. Plus if it's really serious I can always remove the bold and italics from whatever post I'm editing.

Yep, quite a few to be honest. I play a number of XBox 360 and Kinect games with my little brother when I'm at home. And if I'm ever bored there's always Kongregate...

Why do you think the UCaG Board has a few dedicated forumites lurking around?
I think that's because even in the down periods of the UCaG there's always still a couple decent games going on. Plus, even when people leave they tend to come back...
What are some factors that, you think, that can make a game successful?
An interesting idea, good writing, and the consistency to keep up regular updates.
How can you describe your characters you use in games in general?
While I do try to mix it up now and then, if it's a fantasy type game I often play as a Elf Ranger named Galathial.

Have you ever tried an UCaG game that involves two words, and you have to replace one of these words with another?
Nope, sounds like it could be interesting though...

I have too many favorite books to list here; I like Monet; and I don't really play MMORPGs.
