AQ3D, Alpha testing and EpicDuel

Dearest EpicDuelists,

If you read whats on AQ3D's site, you know that the Alpha testing of that game will only belong to AQWorlds' supporters.

However, I am suprised how EpicDuel supporters aren't involved into testing although EpicDuel is the second most popular Artix Entertainment game, and probably would be more popular if it has came out the same time as AQWorlds and was advertised the same at other sites.

What do you think? Do you think that we, the Varium buyers should be able to Alpha test AQ3D?

I would love to. I think AE should treat all of its paying customers equally. Right now its as if they are looking down on us.

Seems like the only supporters that get benefits for other games are from AQWorlds, they look down at all games except it. xS

I think we should be treated as equally as AQW, as I personally, have spent over 40k battleon on Varium, which is worth 4 years of AQW Membership, so i do find it strange that I am not allowed to partake, especially since EpicDuel holds most of AE's older player base, I thought they would be looking for more mature and responsible people to help find bugs and glitches, and also to suggest new content, as older player generally suggest more detailed content, but that is easier to make.

For example, some 8 year old could say... I want a fire breathing dragon to follow me around and help me in fighting and stuff. Whereas an EpicDuel player might say something more along the lines of... It would be cool if we could have fully color customizable dragon that looks like the ancient Chinese dragons follow us around as pets or familiars, perhaps we could summon them through a ritual using our magic skill, and the more you increase your magic level and use relevant perks in that skill, the stronger it gets.

Yes, it is a weak example, but my point is that us EpicDuel players suggest content in more detail, but can more appropriately offer ways these could be introduced into the game, and possible things than could unlock and improve them, making for a longer, bigger, better game, with more variation in it, which will in turn be more popular, and eventually lead to higher profits for the company.

edit: swapped brought 40k varium, to spent 40k battleon points on varium.

Glad i have aqw membership :D

But i do agree that epicduel players should be given the chance to participate because as Wootz said:

So basically epicduel is more popular than herosmash yet they get to participate in the alpha testing.

Also most players on epicduel forums have really good ideas and i feel they could contribute ideas on how to make AQ3D better.

Thats because if you get Membership in AQWorlds, you have it in HeroSmash then, but not vice versa.

Idk why they keep showing AQW>ED. In every single thing. Well probably i spent more money on AE than some AQW players. I spent like +1000$ and they dont allow me to join alpha :S

 They probably don't have a system in place to determine who are premium ED players and who are not; if you play the other AE games, varium is much more like Z-tokens, Dragon Coins, Nova Gems and Adventure Coins than Guardianship, Dragonlord(ship?), Star Captainship and Membership. I'm pretty sure there isn't a system in place to determine who has premium items bought with the premium currency and who does not for the other games as well. I mean, one can manually check character pages to see if a character is a varium user, but one cannot do a sweeping search for 'varium user' and have a list of character names appear. That's my theory.

Furthermore, AQ3D is probably going to be much more like AQW than any of the other AE games; hence AQW members were chosen to test the game.

Huge problem indeed but then thats marketing as well because they expect the big spenders to get the membership even if they don't play the game.

Your master account levels with purchases throughout all AE games.

No they can determine. ED&AQW premium users participated in HS alpha, so they can determine :)

 We'll be talking to Artix about letting upgraded ED players play in the AQ3D test phases. The beta won't be for a while though.

and What are Upgraded ED players if I may ask.

Is paying the lowest Varium pack + weapons considered an Upgrade or will it require 10 k Varium.

^ It could mean anyone who has purchased a phase promotional like Beta gear, or yes it could mean 10k or the next one down.

Wow: 3D, a reasonable $50 per year, so many new features I haven't tried, tens of thousands of players at all times. Maybe it's time to go back to AQW--no doubt the $50 will go much further in AQW than in ED, where $50 could maybe last you month.

^Sure technically it's "when you choose to do so". But you can't expect to be at your peak winning potential with outdated gear. So practically, there isn't much of a choice (unless you are using your varium on items such as houses/bikes/accessories).

No offence to you guys, but I feel that people from the older games like AQ DF and MQ have more reason to be angry since that's who it is apparently made for in the first place. But I agree that it should be for all Upgrade people.

 @endtime- unless I'm using a promo in-game (for promotional reasons) I use a lot of "outdated" weaponry and other gear.

For those asking what "upgraded" would mean, that's a Corporate decision, not mine, so I don't know yet. I apologize sincerely on behalf of ArtixEntertainment for any real or perceived slight against the EpicDuel players.

Also, the game is in VERY early development stages, so much may change from now until it's ready to be released to the public.
