as heard Here (at around 1 hour, 26 minutes and 30 seconds), we probably have had about 300 MILLION fights by now.
taken that there were about 1 mil when i started in very early beta (i remember reading in the DN's that the firtst 'one in a million' cheevo had been given out),
there's an average of (approx. 2.5 years = 900 days) 300,000,000/900=about 350,000 fights per day.

taken that at any given time there are an average of 1300 players online, that would be an average o around 10 fights/hour per player

What do you think about this?

oh, and discuss the numbers and stuff, since this *is* still EDGD :p

All I will say is after looking at the statistics is say that it looks pretty close.

300 One in a Million achievements achieved.

300 million battles? You guys need lives, my god....
aha well in any case, I do find it a shame they don't give the "one in a million" anymore.
That achievement was quite cool. It looked very nice.

Well we look at an average, but there are players like xxx.mamaril.xxx who make 300+ wins a day, and then players like me who make 20 in a week
(seeing as I am semi retired). What you forget is we must have at least 4000 players overall, some of which played quite a lot back in the day.
Dark Avenger, Gamal, etc, all made a lot of wins but don't play anymore. So our NOW average is different. Not to mention the fact that there's a fine
line between the REAL players of this game, and those who just play halfheartedly.

To talk about nowadays, forget the average. Between 1500 players we must be making like 20 000-50 000 wins a day overall.
