If they can get it off npcs only then yeah.

I Dont think you guys are understanding me ...
let me explain it to you in a simpler way..

when you go in a battle with npc's , you get a count down.
you have 15 seconds to attack the "npc" or els it will skip your turn and the npc will attack

now what i am trying to say is replacing those 15 seconds with infinite time.
so people will not wonder off and find their character dead.
it's very simple ..

ON TOPIC : I agree on this . Why? Well ED isn't the only thing players do since players = people .

I agree with this idea. i don't see any live player getting hurt by this feature. npcs are AIs anyway so they have infinite patience LOL

If this being implemented have no impact on server lag or general game play then I am fine with it.

That would be only good if NPCs kills wouldnt count towards ur wins/loses score = leaderboard score.

The solution would be to add a "Pause / Break" button but only for NPCs.
This would not interference with difficulty, tactical turn skips, wanted duel
losses or anything else.

thylek .. in that case you just finish the battle...
its hard to explain in words but what if you wonder off when your battling ....
how are you going to pause if you forget that epicduel even exists...
I mean seriously does this only happen to me ?!??!?!

That looks like a problem that cannot be fixed inside the game.
Just think about driving a car and you forget that it does
exist because you prefer to read the newspaper.

I wont have a problem with turns without a timer like in AQ and MQ for NPCs.
This could be done by adding also a "Skip" button.

Talked with Titan about this, the reason why there is a timer is to minimize simultaneous NPC fights.

Another reason is so that new people that start playing on NPCs get a proper feel for the fighting system and its pace. If these were different, switching from NPCs to PvP could be very disorienting and aggravating given the time restriction you have each turn.

I like the idea of removing the countdown- I too have occasionally changed tabs, to find my character killed by an npc because of neglect.
Supported.
