Helpful and Constructive!

^Oh, OK, I misunderstood. I thought that the other 80% of the spell was done as damage to the enemy.

Is it next ATTACK or next HIT? Seems to be the latter to me...

@gold: It -should- be next attack.

It's definitely bugged, then, if that's the case. I never see anything over 300 on FMS's second hit.

It is bugged, should be on the next attack is currently on the next hit. I'm working with Kam to get it fixed right now. Also...should be noted that if you switch your equipment you lose the boosts.

Are you supposed to lose the boost or will it get fixed?

is it just the next weapon attack or does it stack with skills (that act as normal player attacks)? Or by "until you get a normal attack" mean just a normal hit with the weapon?

Dev to 100% clarify the special.

If the special occurs 20% of the listed damage autohits the player. The player receives a boost to his next attack. The monster receives no damage from the special.

Changing equipment does not currently reset the boosts, as seen here on Ubear's video, he frequently changes shields and miscs and the boost is still maintained.

Also seen in that video the blowback seems to be doing more damage than it should as it hits for up to 149 when (if my calcs are correct) it should actually have a damage range of ~46-134
nvm CIT also increases blowback damage. :I

Hello everyone, I'm here to tell you my findings on the recent Forgotten Totems released a while ago.

    quote:

    ORIGINAL: Lord Barrius

...you'll find a brand new weapon in the Twilight shops, the Forgotten Totems! These Dark Magic wands can add a Fear effect to your Darkness spells! Like the Liquefactor, it's available for Lvl 105 players and above only as a MC exclusive to high levels!

So I took the level 120 Forgotten's Intimidating Totem from the Twilight Shop, and it's a 100 percent proc magic weapon with a sweet ability! When you cast a darkness spell while wielding the totem, a fear effect* is put on the opponent where they have a 65(edit: percent chance is half of opponent's darkness modifier. Thanks The Apotheosis!) percent chance of not attacking for the next 2 turns (opponent has a chance to make a save against fear**). The 2-turn fear does not stack, meaning if you inflict fear when there is 1 turn of fear left, it only goes back up to 2 turns of fear.

The totems are not a part of the Twilight set, so they don't give the FSB when combined with Twilight's armor and shield.

*The dark energies of your spell resonate with those of your Forgotten's Intimidating Totem, filling the enemy with fear!
**Your spell's dark nature is frightening, but your opponent stands strong.

    EFFECT
The Flaring Liquefactor has a effect called Melt. it increases the damage the weapon does by 1% every time it affects a enemy up to a 10% max damage increase. It seems to do this every time you attack.

*Your Liquefactor has melted through "insert monster's name" 's defenses, it will now do "101%(up to 110%) "damage.

^Its doesn't always increase by 1%. On monsters around the level 100 range I find it increases by 1.41% and on essence 150 dragons it increase by 0.80%. Also you can go over 110% because I went to 110.43% on a level 150 essence and then it capped. There must be some kind of formula to determine this.
