I'm not so used to the American date format, since we use the European date format in Australia, could the forum software include the ability to select date formats, it'd be very convenient for users of non-American countries, myself included. That is, if it is possible to implement.

I feel that having one date and time option is a good thing for these forums, as the time represented on the forum is the time at the office, which can be helpful when referencing release time(s) which is done a lot in the design notes.

tflo, you misunderstand. For example, in the American format, today is 6/10/2012, but James Lu wants the option of having the European date format, 10/6/2012. He's not asking for different time zones.

Yes, Orodalf is correct. Users can set their timezones in their profile settings, which I have done, I just think that for added accessibility the option to switch date formats should be added. Other countries use YYYY/MM/DD, it'd be more convenient for newer users who are unfamiliar with the forum's default American Date format.

Ah, thank you my mistake. Something like this would be for the forum coders to decide. So since I can't do anything about this I'll just wait for one of them to comment on this.

Ah ok, no worries, there's no rush. :)

I did a Google-search for date formats in ASP Playground, but I didn't find anything of particular relevance, although, given the relative triviality of such a capability/function I'd assume it would be in-built in the forum software's framework.
