I do ask that you provide me with a reason, but you don't have to make up some elaborate story to convince me to change your name... I just need to know why you want your name changed. Forum policy also requires that you have a recent history (usually three months) free of severe warnings and bans before I will consider a name change request. Also, I obviously can't change your name to a name someone else is already using, so I do appreciate it if you check the member list first to see if the name you want is available.
