Remorse your right, but you understand they can piss the heck out of of you, but I was talking about varuim tlm they can be... we'll just you know. Also yes STR spammers get alot of wins, however I'ce played a STR, masscre BH and let me tell you support tech mages killed me every time they did 50-70 with they crits, guns and aux's whoah and theres healed too. Also aain Tlm were a huge pain. Support cyber hunters beat mme alot too woahh those support cyber hunters man. Also BM's kill me too in fact most classes that aren't STR based killed my STR based, but then again I may be over reacitng, but alot of non STR builds can easily beat me, and when I play a non STR build I win alot, you'd be surprised.

Well Omega limits the varium gap but it also solves two major issues in my mind.

One a Full Varium lv 31 anything is almost equal to a full varium lv 35 because of encumbrance.
Two sky high credit enhancement prices.

Sure the new system could be expensive as all get up like 1K per level to 3K per level depending on the level but that is a lot cheaper than the current enhancement system for credits but each weapon will adapt to the users level so no more encumbrance making lower levels as strong as higher levels which means there is a new target to beat on and it is the proper one. Higher Levels should have an advantage over lower levels. Also hopefully the system they use to level up weapons fixes that nasty grey area of lv 28 and 29 in which you are pretty much fodder for high levels no matter what you do

@hawtness it just says they will be strong it has no mention of them being the end all to be all

Yes they can beat you,

But when you do beat them, Most cases its so effortless its unfair.


@ Hawt,

Im 99% sure titan was just referring that betas and well any low level item can be in par with the highest wepons in omega NOT better at all just in par.

isnt that the point. He stating that was not needed unless it was something that should have been picked up as a hint. :) reverse phycology.

Rabble confirmed with me on IRC that rarity will not affect the strength of an item. Meaning Founder Armor will be just as powerful as Bio Mage Armor when they're both the same level.

Also, I've spent 500+ on one account and maybe another 100 on my others combined. I've had more fun being the punching bag and knocking the boxers on their butt because they didn't know to move out of the way.

Trizz@ WAS dosen't cut it the fact is it did happend and people spent alot of money so wether it was suppose to happend or not isn't the problem, the put it in the system, made it quite costly then made te gap and make us spend tons of money, that's why it's only fair.

Note: I want balance among the two sides, sadly paying sould be better than non paying, it may have never meant to been his way but it happended and we can't change that.

You say you want equality for players then turn around and say "Oh well. Since I paid a few times they should keep it unbalanced forever." Like it can't be helped that people who pay should always be better no matter the circumstances. That kind of thinking doesn't move the game forward.
The way you separate yourself from noobs should be by being good at the game. Not paying $50 to get a massive advantage.

Enhancements should have never existed in the first place. you might not have noticed this, but for a game at this level it makes 10x the money other games at its level make. the only reason why you have this kind of mind set in the first place is because it became normal to spend 50+ dollars on the same game every month. Although since the value of varium has decreased and the varium of credits have significantly increased, I suggest that players get more varium when the buy varium packages.

Enhancements should not stay, a maximum of 10 stats is quite low for nearly 2000 varium.

it is not pure logic for pay to win. go make a pay to win game yourself astral and see how it goes.

Enhancements are the reason why everything got nerfed!
It's also the cause of OP builds. Look at Bounty Hunters for instance, they use massacre builds. Massacre builds needs lots of strength, so they put +40 enhancements on strength. That gives them like 18-21 primary damage!

Same with the other builds before they were nerfed, you just put 40+ on that one skill. You're pretty much unstoppable!
Enhancements were always a big problem! I'm glad they're finally gone! Took the developers a while to figure out that was the cause of all the OP classes/builds!

The current enhancement system must go, with the hope for a good compensation :)

As far as I understood the videos about enhance, it looks like, every time u change ur weapon stats, u must pay a price. It's like to redistribute ur enhancements u must pay?? Does it really needs to be that way ???

@ Soul,


In goonys video he said if you changing around stats but NOT adding extra stats to make the weapons up to ur lvl standard then its only a small credit fee,

Im assuming to be similar to changing colors or training.

So rearranging stats around once you have full stats for that wepons will be basically free Im assuming.

Lowering stats doesnt help anything because at the end, we'll end up with the same amount of stats before and the same ol' OPed builds come again.

Stats should be changed by its feauture, not by putting a little blanket over what has been rotting...

ON TOPIC :

I think they should go though . When Stat Diminishing came + new STR skill formula afterwards , no wonder STR builds are seemingly OPed ( seemingly because if we had higher defenses then they wouldn't be a problem ) ; every one can deal decent damage with level 1 STR skills .

Its extremely hard to explain, but I belive too much stats is a problem,

I do understand that lowering the stats still means the same amount for everyone, Im not an idiot.

But things like rage, blood lust etc, benefit too much from the extra stats.


Its hard to explain I say just wait and see and I would be extremely surprised if balance doesn't get alot better.

If you are a beta player then perhaps you would understand by remembering how it was in those times, Yes spam builds existed back then but they were never so powerful as to destroy all other creativity like what happens now.

So how much varium will the players be getting back for the varium spent on enhancements. For example if one were to spend lets say 10k varium on enhancements will he get 10k back or a cut 2.5k or something like that?
