Riniti: I'm not. I finished the quest, and when I go back now, all I see is 1 Big Ben, ans it takes ages to run to the back of the cellar (where he is) so it's not worth faming

@Basicball I may know why; I've used a few computers. I've been at a local internet cafe because mine's being fixed. I think the way they decide if a quest is done is by IP address; so if I go to a different computer, it says I'm not done. Would that make sense?

riniti: it would, because when i logged into an alt to check the pre-quest dialogue for the wiki, i didn't have to do the quest either, and i was like O.o

this may cause problems. not only does only 1 person in a household have to do the missions (siblings, schools, public places,...), but if your net goes down, and your IP change, you'd have to redo it.
Imagine in 2 years, you'd have to redo 100 quests if your net goes down O.O

@Basicball Yeah, so if people use different computers, you might have to redo a giant quest chain in the future... x.x I hope they change it to by user at some point xD

That's strange, as I have actually managed to use that server a few times. I just joined it assuming there was something they wanted us to test, and that we'd be given an explanation when we logged in. Since I didn't see anything like that, I just continued playing on it, while waiting for something interesting to happen.

It's just not logical to show staff only servers in a way that normal players become aware of them, so I had no reason to assume it was supposed to be staff only.

thrust me, the testing server has a different url to access it. my best guess is the link we first used in alpha (devsoul)
anyways, even if you have the link, your account still shouldn't have access

That wouldn't make any sense, as people with dynamic IPs would constantly lose their quest progress.

Revontheus just replied to me saying we do. So, unless he's tricking us again, we have access.

@Ninjaty Which is why we aren't happy with it. I've logged onto Oversoul on multiple accounts, and my quest says it isn't done on ones which I haven't done it, but when I go back to my first comp it says it's done. So I'm pretty sure it's IP based.
