TLMS deserve a debuff?

Do or do not TLMs deserve a debuff skill? Every other class has one, and they won't be on equal footing with others until they get one.

Other classes also lack both a passive health/energy regain and a Passive armor. It was decided that a debuff, passive shield and a regen of some sort was too powerful for a class to have in one skill tree at once.

Yes, a support debuff would work well in place of stun grenade.

Allow me to correct. A PASSIVE regen, passive shield and a debuff were ruled too powerful to be in one tree. It's fine if you have to activate the shield or regen.

But you must take a decent amount of damage in a single attack for reroute to regen a usable amount of energy.. Is that not taken into account?

@zippin What's taken into account is how a class can defend themselves better while being able to further that with either health or energy(which can go to either more health, more damage or more defense). Adding on a way to either increase their damage or lower the damage they take is just too much.

Tlm doesn't really need a debuff. Tank builds and strength builds and 5 focus builds are all strong. They used to have one and they were overpowered and unstoppable hence why they don't have one now.

Nope they deserve a nerf. This is my opinion since this class got released.
I would suggest to weaken Mineral Armor by 33%. Its an unique skill
that won´t affect any other class.

They had Smoke Screen at the beginning and this was way to powerfull.
This class still rules the game together with Blood Mages since there I think.

I would love it if intimidate replaced field commander, because TLMs don't have many offensive skills that would benefit from extra strength.

Well they do have frenzy and double attack and double attack is very easily spammable though it's been weakened. Giving them intimidate would only make then hecka annoying as they'll all just tank and heal loop.

Tlms are one of the least powerful classes right now. Giving the class intimidate wouldn't break the game or anything. It just makes the class more tank-ish. Replacing stun grenade or field commander could help improve the class a lot.

I don't think strength builds are as usable for a TLM as opposed to a Merc therefore I don't think double attack is an issue, especially since it was debuffed. Also I think, perhaps a bit subjective as a TLM, that TLM are under-powered and could use a useful debuff such as intimidate, nothing as crazy as Smokescreen which would make TLM Op.

It would. Intimidate is still a debuff and you cannot have passive Armor, passive HP/EP regen and debuff on top of it. Even if it's Intimidate, it's still a debuff (taking in less damage = dealing more damage; you live for longer thus raising the average damage per turn).

Why can't you have those together?, it's almost like the idea of that trumps the actuality of Under-powered TLM needing some sort of buff.

Because such combo is overpowered. ND already said it above and it was clarified by Staff in the past. So BH with passive Armor, BL and Smoke would be fine? Or BM with same combo but Intimidate? Malf + Plasma Armor + Reroute anyone? It leads to abuse of power and is too strong as a combo. That's why none of the classes have it.

they did and they were vastly OP because of it. They had frenzy, smokescreen, reroute, and mineral armor. It was way too much and make TLM strength builds extremely OP. It was either take away smokescreen or reroute, and the balance team choose smoke.

I don't think frenzy+intimidate+reroute+mineral armor would be OP, Intimidate can't really compare to smokescreen in usefulness/ application, BH, Bm would be OP if they had an armor because they are designed to attack/ they're skill tree is full of offensive maneuvers, while TLM is limited, doesn't have many attacking skills, is struggling to fight in this world of debuffs and is more geared to tank with reroute and Mineral armor but can't keep up with the incoming damage from Smoke and Malf and needs something like intimidate to combat this.

Intimidate is still a debuff. It lowers one's damage so you last longer thus dealing more damage due to your survivability. Also you're quite underestimating Intimidate..
