Reduce the amount of EMP and Atom Smasher takes due to the unethical duelist that uses them and then berates other players plus it is about time those two skills get a nerf, the only nerf that truly needs to happen.

Not supported in the least. This would OP those high energy builds since energy draining moves would be weaker and less effective.

 Don't rely purely on EP, get Generator core, use Energy Shot & Energy Rain to also drain EP from them, wait for Boosters to be back, raise your Dex to block Atom, Malf to weaken EMP (Override core or TM partner or change class or deal with it for now). There are many ways around it, just don't rely purely on EP because that's one of the biggest mistakes. Only works out for abusers.

Those energy draining skills will be as effective because everyone thinks the core skills are effective at taking away 11 points and 15 points of energy or based on weapon damage or that Assimilation is fine with taking away only 12 points of energy at max.

The other option give the Blood Mage reroute or a new passive energy regain since the skills are pitiful.

Another option improve the damage of the Blood Mage skills with the exception of Bludgeon reducing the energy cost.

 Reroute + Bloodlust is already OP combo, this will never happen. And it's really biased towards BMs which is why people don't agree most of the time. Also Assimilate can be blocked and you won't get any EP back (nor drain) and damage will be blocked yet these cores are unblockable and one targets both enemies in 2v2 which is something new compared to EMP and Atom.
It's better than nothing but it's your choice not to have an use outta them.

Le me guess. Your a str bm because if you nerf emp it's like slapping my char in the face so hard.

Since when are EMP/Atom Smasher builds OP?

Its a necessary counter in the game to prevent high-energy cost skills from becoming too strong.
