So mother1? It isn't the players fault the release gets delayed over & over, then gets released at awkward times for people who would of liked to get there hands on this weapon. Dev's need to think before doing silly stuff. Yes, having a ultra-rare item is nice but, not being able to obtain it cause of delayed releases & silly times, which isn't the players fault for making a living (work) or having a bed time.

They need to find a time that could benefit everyone or make it a limited time ultra-rare item.

 Lol, by the time my computer loaded epicduel, the code was gone. Not that I'm complaining, I don't like swords that much.

Also, to all of you that are saying "You should have stayed up" and stuff like that, I can't wait till the next time when you miss it and start whining about it on the forums. :'D I'mma gonna laugh so hard.

And to all of you who missed it, its ok, there will be other items!

If they didn't intended to give out a limited about would the prize code have expired? I think not it would still be working right now and this topic wouldn't even exist.

Those who sit at the computer all day and night and do nothing get the most rewards.

 Ten Year Titan is good example but bad at the same time. Bike was meant to be an award for everyone for the 10th Anniversary. This is just an Ultra-Rare item that was limited, simple as.

Something very unlikely happened that I got the sword - I was awake at 4 o'clock in the morning.

even if they did manage to release the update and code on time this topic would still exist. Why because as Jari said when they release things someone always has a better chance of getting it then others due to time zones.

As I said before when this code was released normally I would be sleeping however I knew I wanted the item so I stayed up until it was released.

People are just selfish not wanting other players to obtain this item. The Dev's need to wake up & realize not everyone is American based.
After 4:00am for a release is just ridiculous & shows no respect for the people who have to deal with releases being so late.
If a release keeps on getting delayed & you release it at 4:00am for people who live in different countries, then the release should be delayed till the right time the next day.

They should just release time limit codes. The code lasts for a certain amount of time so everyone who claims it within that period would get it. Seems a lot more fair.

Jari ment its almost always the same people that get it. The people that have:

A. Fast computers

B. No bedtime

C. No priorities. (This includes jobs, family emergencies, chores, ect.)

D. The correct time-zone

While I can agree with you on that one, as I said before even if they did release it on time or even hold it to the next day someone would still be making this topic saying it isn't fair. Why? Because while you or even me might be able to get the item someone else will miss out and it will be this all over again.

It has always been like this with limited quantity items. Plus if I got my math right if they did release it on time the code would have been out at 1 were you are at.

I totally agree with this. And like me, who didn't get the item, this is because i have a life and need to work early in the morning and i need to go to bed. I cant do an all nighter and then still be able to do my job the next day efficiently.

If it was released on time & mostly everyone had a chance to obtain it, I would see no problem.
Releasing so late for other people in different countries & expect there to be no problem, there will be a problem.

I'm going out. - I have the weapon, I was up at 4:00am, so me being called selfish or whatever for trying to get this weapon for other people who missed out by the dev's fault, are just dumb.

 Yet we're looping the same thing over and over. So what if it was 4am for you? It was 4am for me YET I managed to get it. It may have been 10am instead for someone else which is perfect, as opposed to 5-6am when they may have been sleeping and miss the weapon. What didn't suit you may have suited someone else. Better luck next time, simple as.
If you restock, people will STILL miss it. Not everyone will be able to get it because it's Saturday; parties, going out, etc., so it'll be pointless cycle by making the weapon more and more common whilst it is NO different to your standard Sword in the shop. But art and personal value attached to its rariy.

The point I was trying to make was that no matter what time whether it was on time or not it will always be unfair to someone because of the time of the release meaning that as long as there are limited rare items that can only be gotten at a certain time or in this case the staff giving out a code for something limited quantity then this problem will always be here.

The only way I can see this going away is if they remove limited rare items from the game for good.

That's why its called limited rare, means that not everybody can get it. Two things, You get it or NOT get it. Well, I feel sorry for those who haven't got it though I didn't get the pistol too. Only the sword. :3

I think the idea of having the code inside a movie is excellent. Simply because you can publish the movie at a precise moment.

Then DNs should say "On Friday PRECISELY at 6:00PM EST the movie will be published and the code will be available for an hour to be redeemed.".

Now the biggest failure was the fact that the movie was published when the release was live. But the release itself has been delayed for few hours so yeah.

And yes, I agree too that people that are countering complainers with silly reasons are mostly selfish.

Exactly at least if they released on time even if it was at 1 am in the morning for me I would know the exact time to wake up and get the code. Unfortunately if it was delayed we don't know exactly when it will be released and we end up just sitting their aimlessly waiting not knowing when it will be released.

To everyone saying it was "Suppose" to be released on time so everyone would get.. wat time*? The same time j6's gun code was given?? Well then how is it any different ?? The same players who got gun would get the sword too.. I did not get the gun, but due to the delay, I got the sword ..

I'm sure the Asian time zoner's are all pretty much happy ..

Though like I and many other suggested, it should limited time rather limited quantity or increase the quantity really high and once the time is up, just expire it ... Or leave it, as they wish ..

It was originally suppose to be released at 7 PM but due to the delay it was released 3-4 hours late.

But at the same time you proved a point I made with your post. If it was released on time you wouldn't have gotten it while someone else in another time zone would have. Which is what I have been saying no matter what time they do this someone due to time zone is going to miss out on it. So as long as they do limited items that are ultra rare threads like this will always pop up.

Let's face it, most ( if not all ) prize codes FAVOR a CERTAIN time zone *wink* .
Why some players should sacrifice something ( like sleep, yep sleep is important) when other players don't have to. Fair, much/

They should have a time limit of 6-12 hours, this way most time-zones will not be effected.
