 i was just wondering in 1 vs 1 battle mode, BH have become just too strong to handle. thay go around with high smoke, add that to shadow arts and ninja reflex and with blood lust its a never ending health gain. morever the one with azarel's aux are jus too Op as they take down any defenses one uses.
i know a lot of you may call it a rant but its an opinion and in case regular players (read neutral as well) like to differ, i'm all ears. pls see i'm not saying there are not op builds in other classes but with Bh op builds are just too effective.

 As I've stated multiple times, the problem is always gonna be shadow arts when it comes to block chances. That passive is just friggen messed up and is loathed by many, yet I don't see why the staff haven't done anything about it. You can probably take them down if you go first and use malfunction, as most only have a weak energy shield if none at all.

i am a cyber hunter with 94 dex and lvl 9 shadow arts. i malf BH about -42 tech point so they end up somescreening me by 24 -34 pts... but even with 60+ dex they have blocked me 3-4 times... its like they got some kind of superpower all of a sudden. it happened to me with EVERY BH i fought. it was no once in a while scenario.

Yeah, I get blocked a lot by then. It really makes me mad.

So, as a CH, I had to devise a way to beat them: Support-Strength Massacre. I win about 75% of the time, but it's really tight, seeing as they have bloodlust..

It's a lot of work making my BH non-Op, at least it apparently is according to forumites and complainers.

Hmm.

Well, actually, they're not invincible for CHs and mages as long as you have a good DM.

and one more thing- Never hesitate

 I can say that Reflex Boost (BMs and for BHs too) works well if trained high enough and/or moderate/high Support. It worked well for me at least when I was Smoked by them - usually negated the whole Smoke (or more) and 15% EP return if they connect a hit on me was nice. :P

 Yeah, with TM you can out tank them pretty well. If you are a battle mage, then you will pretty much lose to a BH.

pls merge the current thread to smoke screen OP if possible as both threads are about same stuff and the linked thread is being used more often.

What makes BHs OPed is Shadow Arts, BL and EMP.
Especially the blocking part of Shadow Arts does need a nerf.

The synergy effects of Reflex, Smoke, Shadow Arts, and maybe
also the block core is also a big problem because it makes BHs
nearly immune to blockable melee attacks like strike, Atom Smasher
and standard robot attacks. Even a single block could just ruin the
duel for the attacker. Think about the famous berzerker blocks.^^

I just switched from a BH to a BM because I wanted a more exciting class. In my opinion, with the nerfing of massacre it has become less OP'd. If they lower shadow arts a bit I would be happy.
