As I've said many times before:

IA IS A PURELY ATTACK/DAMAGE BOT. It has no side effects!

You know robots were never supposed to exist, and the original idea/code behind robots did not include any damage at all...now that I think about it, focus kind of coincided with the end of Beta....and I think we can all agree the end of beta was a bad thing...so why don't we just get rid of robots all together? How does that IA nerf sound now?

If im correct, nexus, the first robot was gamma bot..and it was a damage bot.

First of all, the first bot was the assault bot, and second of all, the original code was being written for "skill perks" (a non-damage feature), but was then "recycled" by Titan in order to make the Assault bot, whose main feature at the time was its special, not its damage ;o

 Actually, Robots came from both Skill Perks and Grenades. They couldn't find a way to get either to work without being bad for balance so they had to scrap the both of them and made robots instead. So the assumption that robots were only meant for effects would be wrong.

Why do so many people use IA? Because it's the only non-rare bot that does damage only. If we had more bots like Gamma Bot, then people might use something more than a stall 5 focus build. But why is 5 focus so prevalent? Because it's easy to make. Get 5 focus, add some health and then put it into dex and tech and you're usually set.

You forgot one thing:

5 Focus is one of the strongest builds in game.

Maybe they were not meant to be effect specific, but I don't think they were ever meant to be a (HUGE) damage source, that trumps even the power of a sidearm with massive strength and deadly aim. Its gotten out of hand.

i have thought of one solution to this, why not make the robot have equal damage and not based on focus

IA OS SSOOOOO OP why only yesterday a guy used it on me and lost.

If they nerf maybe he'll win!!! Next time Higgly unlikely as I nuke all my opponenents.
