I understand it was a promotional item so it should be powerful, but this is over powered. "An unblockable physical attack that steals 25% of the target's rage." The attack is locked to physical damage but that isn't enough. Here are two solutions:

1-make it blockable. -The attack is 100% reliable yet has no damage reduction.

2-just reduce the targets rage by 25% if that, don't steal it. -reducing your opponent's rage by 25% is a lot, stealing it on top of that is ridiculous. This leads to quick rage without having to invest in support.

One or perhaps a combination of part of both of these is necessary IMO. Thoughts?

You can steal a total of 75% of your opponent's Rage if your a Mercenary.

Even though I had it, I don't think it is OP. It is fine and some Cores are stronger than others. Why have everything the same?

That can be deflected, and to steal 75% of rage would require large amounts of energy. Furthermore, i agree some cores are stronger than others but this one is too strong for the reasons i gave above. Im not suggesting we remove it, just nerf it; it would not lose its uniqueness.

It was nerfed in the form of locking it to one type of attack. Also nerfing this core in the ways you want will be ripping off the people who brought this armor. People paid for the item because it is an unblockable attack that steals rage and give it to you. That is how it was advertised. Making it blockable and/or making it not give rage to the person and only steal it would go against what was originally advertised.

Also surgical strike is not blockable or deflectable last I checked.

 What about meteor strike? Its unblockable and deals 110% yet no one complains about it.
Its the only armor that has a different active core and you want to nerf that so everyone is forced to get an armor woth generator?
No thanks, never heard someone complaining about this core since omega so leave it.

I do have one problem with it. You can rage the attack. Is it fair to rage the attack while stealing rage. Noo make it non rage able.

Mother1: you're right, surgical isn't blockable or deflectable, my bad. However, it also cannot steal 75% rage, it is capped at 50% and again it requires a great deal of energy.

Blitzex/Sr.Zeph: meteor strike is not an adequate comparison because the similarities are only the fact that they cannot be blocked/deflected. This does not account for the rage, which is the larger factor here. Furthermore, if the core was simply made blockable it would still be a very powerful core; i contend that people would still use it over generator.

To address the point of this being a promo offer: I understand that this is the case fully, and therefore this is a touchy subject. That being said, it isnt as if promo items/varium purchasable items have never been nerfed before. If this was the "unbeatable counteracting argument" to each subject falling under this criteria the game would be unbalanced indeed.

you are right promo's have been nerfed in the past. However no promo's has been nerfed to the point where it doesn't to what it originally advertised. That was the point I was getting at. Your nerf idea would tick off people who paid for it because it wouldn't be what they paid for originally.

Remember the infernal intradictor? It got nerfed twice however, it still does what it was originally advertised to do which is power up critical hits. Same with the Azreal's borg since it got nerfed yet it still weakens all buffs.

What I am saying is if they nerf old promo's they do it so it will be weaker, but will still do what it was advertised to do. They never did otherwise to my knowledge.

Nope, i got the armor yet never use it.
Generator is far more usefull then stealing rage, since it basically only stals the rage for 1 turn, yet not even that sometimes.
When you already have rage and they try to steal it, you stil have the rage cause they still attack you thus useless.

This armor is an offensive armor, all others are defensive, dont spoil it by nerfing the offensive armor.
All offensive attacks/stats already got nerfed to the ground, causing this 5 focus/tank OPness.

Blitzex/Sr. Zeph: as you said it is an offensive armor. if you have an offensive build then this is still the better armor because you get rage faster without having to invest in support and it is unblockable with no damage drop to boot. It is also being used in tandem with five focus builds. To cite an example look at E Z R A's build. He is using a five focus leaning strength with 45+0 support, yet upon all of this he also gets rage 25% quicker. This is essentially the same as getting rage 1 turn quicker, and as multiple times stated with no damage drop off or chance to block.

Platinum's Pride is fine. It only does physical damage.

platinum's pride should be nerfed.., make it 80% dmg unblockable steals 25%

Ripping off people? I believe azrael weps had 100% dmg, then they "ripped" people off by taking it to 85% dmg, and just like platinum it still does its purpose. Elites were promised infinite varium, but then "ripped off" with a 20k...

Idk about you guys but I think the only nerf that it need is it is not usable with rage.

it shouldn't be nerfed, and i barely see any people with the armor anymore.. its not even a problem for me

I personally think it's fine. Losing a bit of rage couldn't hurt you unless you had little health, where Platinum's Pride was used tactically. GG

Oh yeah, you might not see them but me.....

90% of my battles are against bounty hunters with phys omega sword, azrael weps, and chairman's fury...

 In delta I would ve said it was op, but now with the generator core platinum pride cant be considered op anymore.
