I'd agree it's nice King Helios but I think it'd be better for BM's to have Technician and Defense Matrix to add variety to their builds because with the setup they have, you're looking only at a successful strength build class. They can't really do much else. Add in Technician and they can use Super Charge and Plasma Cannon more to their advantage. But this certain technician is like reflex boost and makes 15% of damage received convert into energy. It'd be nice to see more builds evolve with this switch. And you can STILL use strength builds if that's what you prefer.

That sounds interesting. :P However, if it improves with Support, you'd have 4 good weapons: Aux, Gun, PC, and Supercharge, which may be a bit OP. Still, it'd be fun, so I support this!

Gun probably wont be strong considering you'd still have to stack up some base tech to pull off a good Supercharge. Wont be OP at all. Think about your health and energy too :P That 15% wont nearly be like reroute so you'd have to put less points on tech dex strength or support onto energy and health. It evens out.

@vanity: Unfortunately, I have to disagree with about 80%+ of the things you criticize with on certain skills. I won't spend time debating on all of them, so I'll just use adrenaline as an example.

Adrenaline is...an extremely advanced skill. Of course support builds can just abuse it to get turn 3 rage, especially with azrael's will, but there's far more advanced play to it, particularly on focus builds. Because of Merc's wide attack range, bunker + maul + zerker + other attacks besides skills can easily lead opponents into a mindgame on what to expect next. Combine bunker's massive crit chance or zerker's ridiculously high static damage with the psychological pressure of adrenaline (even level 1 adrenaline) and you can seriously mess up an opponent's play. They may be too cautious and mess up by wasting energy on unnecessary heals/defensive buffs, or they may just be too headstrong and ignore adrenaline resulting in a faster rage than expected and their loss.

Simply remove win/loss records. Most people care too much about wins than the game itself. If this does happen, a requirement of making more incentive is giving more emphasis to the achievement system of the game than just winning and keeping the record.

@King Frostlich

Now that is such a........great idea!

Or maybe we could just remove losses.

@dual Losses will never be removed and wins be kept. This is a competitive game and losses are your incentive to strive to be better. And even if it doesn't count on your record, you would still get mad losing multiple times in a row because of luck.

@frost I don't see both wins and losses being removed plus it would invalidate most of the All-Time boards and really cause quite a ruckus from the active players if suddenly all their wins didn't get them on the board. I can promise you without a doubt that many of the all-time players right now would quit if you removed ALL their wins.

reflex boost is fine as it is on blood mage.
if u use reflex boost it reduces your chance to be blocked. i like it how it is.
if ur gonna add new ultimate moves to the advanced classes:

bloodmage: flamecharge(supercharge but scales with str instead of tec and has a support requirement. shoots red stuff at your target)

cyberhunter: bladefury(massacre but with 25% lifesteal and 5% extra damage. the strikes come up blue instead of red)

tact merc: gamma strike(surgical strike but with a tec requirement and scales with dex. steals 30% of your targets rage and gives it to you. green stuff comes from above them)

That won't make it any better. The problem with bloodmage is that they consume energy too fast, so you will never be able to use your Ultimate. Sure it has synergy with all it's strength skills, but Max bludgeon+sheild+fireball= out.

@Dual: BMs don't necessarily choose to use all their energy quickly of their own free will, but because of the pressing fact that they can't recover their own energy, have no way of taking away other class' energy, and will end up losing their energy faster. But yea, they'll rarely be able to use their ultimate (not like they'd want to use it necessarily because supercharge doesn't stack with BL and thus is not as efficient.

Hmm..not a bad idea to replace a skill...but fireball doesn't seem like the right one to be replaced.

How about make bludgeon have static charge's effect? It does enhanced damage AND gives 30% energy at max :D

@ED Divine Darkness: That would make strength and focus BMs OP beyond belief; assimilation followed up by level 1-3 bludgeon. BM is pretty balanced as it is right now, it just has too many useless skills.

There's also skill to winning even when luck goes against you.

The only skill this game takes is winning as a free player. Varium players have a much more advantage over free. Especially with robots, have you seen the damage those things do? But I don't expect anything. This corporation is all about money to quantity. Epic duel has it's fair share of broken abilities and weapons. The whole game is broken. Have you seen these bounty hunters? They block almost 24/7 cause of the high dexterity. I mean at first it was strategy using high dex to block. Now it's just copied and the whole world uses it LOL. I remember the old epic duel games. Where the odds were against you.

Like for example when you'll probably have like 20hp and about 27 energy. Your 2 opponents have about 31 each but no energy.. Seems like you lose, you can't heal for about another 2 turns... What're you gonna do? That's right. Strategize what abilities do you have? Can you kill one and have an epic battle with the other? Yeah it was possible back then. Now these varium players can just take you out with there robots. No chance.

Epic duel now sure does have something's I love about it nowadays! They had it in the old days but no one used it much. I like the new things of taking down people energy. Before I only saw bounty's use it. You Check someone's build they have a few maxed out things. You know they might need they use a power. They have enough for another power up that will destroy you. You're teammates dying. Now people are smart take down your opponents energy and sacrifice your teammate. You could have healed your teammate but you know either way your opponent was going to do something to bring his health down anyways. Might as well leave your opponent with no energy and let your teammate die and you kill your opponent.

@Chief

Varium doesn't give any advantages anymore, it is now just for luxury.

Seriously? All robots do about the same damage -.- And free players have access to them too.

Epic duel has it's fair share of broken abilities and weapons

Not weapons

This again? Like I said, varium is only luxury, and DOES NOT GIVE YOU ACCESS TO POWERFUL WEAPONS.

Apparently you weren't in Delta where varium players had +40 more stats than free players. Aaand they had stronger weapons. In omega, that is not the case.

Nah not really. If you have played beta to Omega. It is much worser... Trust me; You will love beta then any other phase in the ED market. That is when they added so many cool features but now I guess they cannot think of making a new game mode right now.

I have played during beta. And right now, since almost everything can be bought with credits (which are free) varium doesn't give much advantages in a battle.
