=D i think we shud take cheapshot and make it a bounty only think. give cyber a deflection version of shadow arts(15% stronger for deflect) and make it like a deflection shield for 3 turns( like they gonna do with SA after update)

It would be a waste of a turn if you don't deflect for those 3 turns :P

but still. after update i think shadow arts will be a shield like this, except it does 80% fixed block chance. very high. deflect will probably be like that aswell.

Update

Cheap Shot replacement now drains a small portion of energy as a % of the damage done.

Static Charge is now buffed

OP version of cheapshot. CH doesnt need extra energy drain, it has emp.

i think CH is actually a good class except that it is too energy reliant and has a useless way of getting energy. what i think should be done is:

reduce all energy costs by 3.

buff static charge by 13%.

and give CH more tech scaling moves.

Can you JUSTIFY? SC will not be buffed any further because it was nerfed in the past and buffed recently. Reducing costs? Why? You train Energy instead, not leave it at base.

Useless way? If you expect to have 20 Str and hope for +20 EP back, yes, it is useless then.

well obv ur not gonna agree. ur a bm. one of the best classes right now. y dont u understand? SC is up. ok. 37% of what i hit? malf. now lets say they dont shield. if they do u are screwed. if they block u are screwed. 2 risks! unlike assim and static smash. ok. i hit 30. 37% of 30=11.1
i get 11 energy? i can get 18 or something like that with max assimilate, the same str and malf on them. i dont even need malf with assimilate. also, NO RISKS! ok. static smash? gives 3x energy back and only has one risk. a block. it doesnt matter with their defences.

this proves static charge is weak.

and nerf energy costs, because CH is energy hungry and reliant. no reroute. no lifesteal. no bloodlust. no nothing!

I have 5 characters that are all different class but no TM account. What does bias have to do with it? I've used SC and have it at Lvl 6 on my CH, and it gives me okay amount of Energy back. It's NOT supposed to be on par with likes of Static Smash or Assimilation.

Lastly, this doesn't prove CHs are weak. Opinions aren't facts.

well, facts are facts. the fact that sc is weak is a fact. not an opinion. dude, become a CH and use static charge. see how weak it is. duals idea of a new sc is really smart. just a bit strong.

I have Lvl 29 CH so I do use SC on it. If you don't find it useful, rely on your own Energy and train it. It's not weak if you use low Str and don't use it with Malf to make it stronger. It's NOT supposed to be on par with likes of Assimilation and Static Smash. Something that was a fact were old Mercenaries before any buffs were given to them. Static Charge being weak is opinion-based since it's useful than prior to the 7% buff.

You may need to revise your build to find it useful.

Static Charge is useful, but only to a handful of builds.

What I'm trying to accomplish here is that any of Cyber's Skills can be useful in more builds. Usable skill =/= flexible skill.

i got an idea, just change static charge so that it only has one cooldown. then cyber will be fine.

Divine,

That's a great idea! I would switch to Cyber Hunter if they decide to do that!

Toxic Grenade should have a 2-turn cooldown instead of one-turn cooldown aswell.

Never thought of that! Nice idea!

Static Charge's cooldown is reduced to ZERO

To make up for it, I'm taking out the bonus to connect.

A buff to static charge by making it useable every other turn? No just no.

The move costs no energy, give back energy while doing damage and when comboed or used correctly you can get back 11-15 energy. Static is fine as it is.

I would say a one-turn cooldown, Dual Thrusters.

Cyber Hunter would really take reign over the classes when they could easily EMP and use Static Charge (with massive Strength) if the opponent decide to burn the Cyber Hunter's Energy as well.

Definition: If you don't decide to play smartly against CH's then you're doomed, buddy.
