yeah he really did, it sucks how bad the nerfs get, think theyll make a entropy version 1 for people who had the original (doomknight reference ftw?) since its technically a paid for class? gotta buy them dragoncoins after all

Yeah, it's on the list. List got really full pretty quickly after today, and there are some other things that I'm working on before I get back to the list, but it is on the list!

Yeah I think this nerf was hidden in some code that came out with a patch, Because I believe I used this class after Ash left and the costs were the same as the previous version.

OMG my mana is gone! Just loaded the armor a couple of minutes ago... not loading it again...

edt: It's doing more damage though

Thanks! Damn those mana costs are high. Why'd Ash make them that high though? I was planning on buying it too

When I first got this class, I loved the last skill. That was crazy when you turn into that monster. The animations are amazing too.
It was one of my favorite classes, aside from Pyromancer and Paladin.

However, now, the mana costs seem to have been tweaked? I don't really remember it having such huge mana costs.
It kinda defeats the purpose of a class that wants to slowly rot your opponent to death, that it can't keep itself alive at some point.
A mana cost overhaul would be nice, or give it something to restore mana.

That said, it's still one of my favorites, because of that last skill. Terrifying.

So Verly recently posted this which raises a couple of questions

1. why does EnTropy have scaling mana costs, when literally only four special offer classes have it? (DmK, DmK V1, Chronomancer/corruptor)

2. What may have been wrong or imbalanced to cause EnTropy to need scaled MP. (May know the answer to this, but I feel it should be discussed)

3. does EnTropy have scaled damage to go with the MP scale or not?

Anyhoo, what are your guys thoughts on this?

Testing this right now and the damage is INCREDIBLY high on some skills, it certainly seems like it scales. Would be nice the see its encyclopedia page updated though, right now it doesn't match the current version.

I love the class. The design and animations are epic and unique. However, I usually don't use it because it can't compare with some of the other classes out there, excluding DoomKnight. The Atealan classes, which are free, can pack a much higher punch with lower mana costs.

^Have you tried it recently? The skills do more damage than the encyclopedia lists, and I find it to do some of the best burst and sustained damage of any class. Plus your core damage skills actually have pretty low mana costs and lots of hits (so negative mana cost with warlic's staff, very cheap with blade of awe). Try womb->needles->rotting touch

With the revamp (enTropy seems to do 207% damage on the Attack regardless of level, and all other skills seem to do multiples of that), enTropy has become a lot more offensive. Even so, though, it can't match Ascendant's sustained damage even with a Darkness weapon (at least, I don't think so), not to mention that Ascendant actually has a dedicated mana regen skill and way cheaper mana costs.

@thronos, it depends, what level are you? because the mana costs were originally locked to what they were supposed to be for level 80.

i have two characters with the entropy Armour thethey have the same exact mana cost with a 10 level difference
the levels are 37 and 47 by the way

ok here the new numbers so far: the attack does around 216%, the decaying needles do a 37.5% as base for the critcal, rotting touch does 50% per hit, foul slash does 108% per hit, repture does 91.337%, poison rain does 254%, fever spit does 58.3% per hit, the stun skill does 41.6% per hit, infection does 216.7%, decay does 158.3%. this was done with a stable weapon that doesnt have any power boost to it from stats also the dots so far are vines is 125% per turn, infection dot is 42%, decay dot is the same, anyways if the one of the staff can update the wiki, it would be great.
and no it doesnt have damage scaling
