Like I said, I am a BH and have no problem killing BMs. My smoke usually makes them miss their bludgeon, so their highest damage is only due to deadly aim. For mercs, an intimate would reduce both the bludgeon and deadly aims damage, maybe not a lot, but by some. Tech mages, I don't really have a solution. Don't really use that class.

If that was the case then I would be losing to BM's every time I fight them since I am a tech mage. However for me this isn't the case. Most of the time I can hold my own and beat these BM's and I don't use an overused build with blood lust to beat them either.

Well duh, because you lower their primary stat they rely on which is dexterity and to abuse that cheap smoke you need uber high tech (which you all have) its the perfect class counter to BM. On the other hand if you're not a BH or Tact Merc you're going to have trouble with them even as another blood mage that don't use that OU build. With my builds I can fight every class well except for BM, that build has so few flaws thanks to deadly aim.

SS build's work really well against BM's.

@Valkyrie, calm down, mate. Smoke is the debuff that ISN'T OP at the moment, seeing as how bad dex is atm. You don't need high tech either for smoke, as long as the skill is high like mine. And there are counters, tell me your class. And by the sounds of it, if your build can compete with every other class/build besides BM, I'd keep it. It sounds pretty balanced, don't fret over one build. As long as you can beat it with luck too, its decent enough. Although BM IS OP, it isn't as bad as you say. It just synergizes well. They need to make OTHER classes synergize as well as it, or the % on bludgeon and deadly aim, or increase the costs.

I do fret over 1 build because 1 build amongst many other insanely OU builds *cough TM high str/sup cough* makes an entire game type unfun, even if it is really easy to beat some of them and you can't have fun in 2v2 because uneven match ups run rampet but they do happen to everyone so I don't complain about 2v2. Juggernaut on the other hand is asinine (imo)

Now I've never once said BM was OP'd, I think the class is fine, my main gripe with them is Deadly Aim, even if I too use it I find that the skill is too much of "Free damage" for Blood mage.
