ur so right. i would made them get a different hybrid armour style like these: example 1: sacrifice energy to put up a sturdy shield for protection against whichever is lower: dex or tec(including debuffs) for 4 turns. level 1: 1 ep to defence or resistance. level 2: 2 ep to defence or resistance. and it keeps going up till max. has no requirement. example 2: sacrifice ep to put up a shield to protect yourself from incoming damage and take reduced damage. lasts 4 turns. level 1: 10 ep to 15 hp shield and 100% damage taken. level 2: 12 ep to 18 hp shield and 95% damage taken. level 3: 14 ep to 21 hp shield and 90% damage taken. keeps going on like this, till level 10. when the shield is broken through, the % damage reduction on you runs out.
