Level: PowLvl vs MonsterLvl
Major: YourCHA vs MonsterLUK
Minor: YourLUK vs MonsterINT <-- Not a typo

If it fails, then it gets nerfed. It takes -6 Defence Loss and *1.06 Element Vulnerability for [hits connected] rounds. These statuses only apply to your Wind attacks. Wind-element monsters are immune.

If the monster is already affected by Defence Loss and Element Vulnerability, then the nerfbat does its normal attack. This is one hit of 100% damage.

I just want to clarify, if the "These statuses only apply to your Wind attacks" include Wind damage from guests? And if so, how are multi-elemental pets / guests affected?

If the monster resists the nerf, the popup appears.

"Through sheer luck, the monster resist <Pet Name>'s nerfly wrath!"

Where <Pet Name> is the name of the renamed Pet, if it is renamed. Grammatical error on "resist" is a typo.

And if the nerf is successful, the popup appears.

"The monster is nerfed!"

It applies to all Wind attacks that target the monster. Pets, guests, spells, player attacks, specials, "other"s (like Wind poisons), and any Wind monsters that damage themselves (do any of those exist?). It looks at the attack's current element, so stuff like the Luminous Blade seeking to Wind, Spellcraft dealing Wind damage, and Babby Robina will all get the boost.

For the Flying Monkey guest, only the reduced cost is factored in. The penalty to damage for sp-efficiency is not factored in.

The 25% damage penalty is already included in the numbers listed in the analysis. ~Koree

The numbers listed in the analysis is the same as in the info subs and at least according to the formulas listed in the Master List of Game Formulae, the numbers in the info subs are standard guest damage

sorry got confused.. finally got it now

ExpCHA is the Expected Charisma of the guest PowLvl.
Delta: *(24-Delta)/24 if you are 8 levels or less beyond the guest PowLvl.
Delta is 0 until you are 9 levels above the guest PowLvl, then Delta is 1, 2, 3 etc.
Examples: You have 200 CHA and use a Poelala guest version with 200 ExpCHA.
  • If you are 8 or less levels beyond the guest PowLvl: [1+(0.16968 +0.16968*200/200)*(24-0)/24]/0.75*1.5 = 1.68
  • If you are 9 levels above the guest PowLvl: [1+(0.16968 +0.16968*200/200)*(24-1)/24]/0.75*1.5 = 1.65
  • If you are 10 levels above the guest PowLvl: [1+(0.16968 +0.16968*200/200)*(24-2)/24]/0.75*1.5 = 1.62
  • If you are 11 levels above the guest PowLvl: [1+(0.16968 +0.16968*200/200)*(24-3)/24]/0.75*1.5 = 1.59

  • The more CHA / the less ExpCHA, the more she boosts the damage dealt.
  • The more levels(9+ levels) above the guest PowLvl, the less she boosts the damage dealt.
Examples: You have 200 CHA and use a Poelala guest version with 30 ExpCHA.
  • If you are 8 or less levels beyond the guest PowLvl: [1+(0.16968 +0.16968*200/30)*(24-0)/24]/0.75*1.5 = 3.60
  • If you are 32 levels above the guest PowLvl: [1+(0.16968 +0.16968*200/30)*(24-24)/24]/0.75*1.5 = 1.11
  • So, there is no point to use a low level Poelala guest with a low ExpCHA in order to get a high damage boost if you are 9+ levels above the guest PowLvl since the damage boost will be decreased by Delta, see above examples.

Does no damage. However, your next attack does *[1+(0.16968 +0.16968*YourCHA/ExpCHA)*(24-DeltaLvl)/24]/0.75 damage, where DeltaLvl = (YourLvl - PowLvl - 8), with a minimum of 0.

The new and returning Rare and Ultra Rare items will be leaving next month. We want to continue bringing this back and adding to it as a fun event for January/February. So that is why none of the items were tag'd as legendary.

The original Poelala pet's file date says 11/12/2004 and the guest entry is 2/24/2005. So I'd say the release year was 2005 for Poelala pet. May 8th was Mother's Day in 2005, her file date is 11/12/2005 so I think the release time is correct.

  • Bolded bit above is for Fairy Godmother when she was released.

For Fairy Godmother G the image needs updated. I suspect it might also apply to Fairy Godmother and Fairy Godmother Z
They way they interact also was changed, mine only attacked with a light based hit, but no longer gave me the option to heal my HP or MP.

    EDIT:
Thanks to DarkLore I noticed the fact that you can change the effects. Following are the pics and the quotes associated with them:

I'll attack that nasty <monster> for you, my dear.

I'll heal your wounds, my dear.

I'll restore your mana, my dear.

  • Attack #1 deals 100% damage. With two equally powerful hits, each hit does *1/2 damage.

  • Attack #2 deals *0.85*0.9 damage. With three equally powerful hits, each hit does *1/3 damage.

  • Attack #3 deals *0.85*0.9*1.5 damage. With three equally powerful hits, each hit does *1/3 damage.

Note: All of the abilities have 100% damage multiplier due to MC and *3.3 price which shouldn't have any penalties. However, the HP heal is *0.85*0.9 damage due to Auto-Hit and "always useful", the MP heal is *0.85*0.9*1.5 damage due to Auto-Hit, "always useful" and MP restoring.

All this has ALREADY been factored into the above numbers.
