All I've got to say is that it doesn't really give us much about Oversoul's future. We got the history clear now, but the future is still ain't looking bright at all. Look, I think we all know that Oversoul needs more players for it to advance anymore, right? Well then, we first have to get out of the "circle of doom" first. No Gameplay Update = No Players No Players = No Gameplay Update. If you don't solve this, then you can't move on. As for advertising. We've got advertisements and all, do they seem to be working? Nah. I think most likely the answer would be that people acknowledge OS presence, but really, there's nothing to do. It's plain. Though I think too many advertisements would just annoy the heck out of people. . . . lol. This is just my opinion, but I think that the community shouldn't really have to work so hard to an extent to try to persuade everyone to come play OS, so that the population can rise and hopefully they just might start working on it again. Like I said, Oversoul, is not complete, as many of you guys can agree. So, just leaving Oversoul like this, without giving it the original updates that were planned, that's not giving Oversoul a chance at all. It's simply abandoning it. They should've completed the game first, it shouldn't have been any surprise that the game lost so many players. Though that's just what my opinion. Again, nothing really is said about Oversoul's future. I am so convinced that the game is just dead. Or if not, a vegetable on the hospital bed. Overall, I think Oversoul's "revival" can only be done started by the Devs/AE, the community can try, but it's much more realistic if the game itself took control first. No Devs, you got no leader, nothin'. So Nulgath uh. Instead of just so many repetitive character releases, is there a way maybe, for Oversoul going dormant maybe 3-4 months or so, no releases at all, just working on gameplay features. Then release them. . . . I feel like that'd be much better. . .it'd attract more players as well. In addition to that, if you must keep the characters coming, would you continue character trees instead of introducing whole new ones? Such as Poison Drake's Legendary form. And Skexis' evolution. And others as well. Heck, the starter Legendaries? Or were they not meant to have one? You know, Slime and Lepid I think had a ton of potential for character trees. Slime -> Greater Slime -> King Slime Or Lepid could be a cocoon, then a moth or so. I think this would also help to stop the "obesity," as I like to call it, of Characters. I mean, sooner or later, ain't Oversoul going to run out of room, or be overcrowded? It's going to need some organizing, maybe? Which I think would have a very little chance of happening if all we can get are characters. Or, they're all going to be shop-only or Seasonal/Perma-rare? So what I'm trying to say is, continuing Character Releases would give you time to stall-out Oversoul's releases, and wait for AE to finally give Oversoul a chance (if they ever). We still got Project Omni, AQ3D, Bladehaven, heaven knows what else. I wanted to play Oversoul due to the gameplay itself. Not just another dress-up game, a game of characters. *cough* AQW. Heck, AQW has a better Chat system then Oversoul does. . . . Kind of like Pokémon, you know? With the character switching, artifacts, pets, stats, etc. I love the storyline as well. Though . . . will we ever get there? Now. . .artifacts. . . . eh. Yo Nulgath, you think XP Boosts are unbalanced/flawed? I think so. . . .. just wondering your thoughts about it. So are you going to start communicating with the Community more now, or is it going to be like how it has been for a while. . .just nothing? Especially since this supposed "IP problem" is gone now. . . . . Ah yes, I remember something else now. Uh, why exactly did AE give Oversoul just two coders if they were going to be used a lot for other projects too? Did they not have faith in Oversoul in the beginning, or what?
