Thursday: It's late, <Character>, I need to go back to my room in the hotel. Raven and the Magus don't think it's safe for me to go home.
After completing The Locket:
Raven: Who could have left that locket in Thursday's room?
Start Quest!
*Raven and Thursday are in Thursday's hotel room. Two Rose soldiers, Sericea and Dortmund, are standing guard outside.*
Raven: What is this?!
*Raven opens the door.*
Sericea: ?!?
*Raven looks angry.*
Raven: You're supposed to be guarding this room! No one goes in or out but Thursday and I!
Dortmund: We are, Raven....
Sericea: Seriously. In a town surrounded by danger, we're sitting in a deserted hallway. There hasn't even been a spirit scare.
Raven: Then how do you explain the necklace!
Dortmund, Sericea (in unison): Necklace?
*Inside the room, Thursday is holding a silver necklace. She looks fascinated by it.*
Raven: This isn't funny... who came through here?
Sericea: No one... I swear! The only other person even staying in the hotel is <Character>.... You didn't leave the window open did you?
*Raven checks the windows.*
Raven (thinking): Both windows were locked.
Raven: Thursday... Thursday! Are you sure that isn't yours?
Thursday: It's beautiful! It's almost like my old locket....
Raven: Thursday...
Raven: Thursday!
*Thursday stops looking at the locket for a moment, unwillingly.*
Raven: We should go see Magus Neron and <Character>....
*A while later, Thursday is standing in Magus Neron's room, still holding the necklace. The Magus is inspecting it.*
Magus Neron: It's very beautiful. Thursday, may I please take a closer look?
Thursday: Oh no! I don't want to lose this one.
*She takes it away from him and stands by the window, out of hearing range. She looks sad.*
Magus Neron: It definitely has blood magic on it. I can't tell exactly what type of spell it is though without looking at more closely...
Magus Neron: ... and she won't be giving the locket up anytime soon.
<Character>: What's inside of the locket?
Raven: I don't know, she hasn't been able to get it open. Can't we just take it from her?
Magus Neron: I'm afraid of an... adverse reaction considering how attached she is to it already.
Magus Neron: Without knowing what spell is on it, I don't know how much it will harm her to take it away.
Magus Neron: Raven, <Character>, keep a close eye on her.
Magus Neron: Keeping her in town with guards outside her door obviously isn't enough anymore.
*Thursday is looking out the window, at the crescent moon, and tears trickle down her cheeks.*
Raven: Thursday, are you ok?
Thursday: The magic is leaving my beautiful home... the Moon used to be full all the time and now... now daylight might actually come.
Thursday: Why, why are you doing this?!
Raven: We're... we're trying to make it safer.
Thursday: But at what price?!
*The argument is interrupted by strong howling sounds from outside.*
<Character>: That... is really close. It sounds like an entire pack is just outside the walls!
Magus Neron: The villagers!
*All four leave the building. When they come out, they see that Amityvale's villagers, holding pitchforks and torches, have the place surrounded.*
Villager (1): There she is!, Villager (2): They've come for her!, Villager (3): The wolves are back!, Villager (4): Give her to them before they kill us all!
Magus Neron: Raven, get Thursday to safety in the hotel and then come back. We need to quell this riot.
Raven: Get her up to her room now! Make sure nothing can get in!
Dortmund, Sericea (in unison): Yes ma'am!
*Magus Neron addresses the villagers.*
Magus Neron: You must calm down! We've pushed the wolves back before!
Villager (5): And they always come back!
Villager (6): Just give her to them!
Villager (7): We want them gone for good!
*One of the villagers throws a torch at Neron's head, and his hood catches fire. He throws it off, and his hideously damaged face id fully revealed. More and more villagers throw their torches in panic in random directions.*
Raven: We've got to stop this! Before the whole town burns down!
Fight the villagers and extinguish the fires. You can talk with some of the Rose soldiers around town.
Burgund: We need to keep everyone inside!
Brennus: There are werewolves prowling just outside... I don't like this.
Ramona: What is going on?!
Harkness: <Character>? Is the inn safe?!
*After the fighting is over, Magus Neron, still without his hood, tends the wounded.*
Magus Neron: I'm... I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help in the fight....
<Character>: It's all right... no one seems to be seriously injured.
Magus Neron: You should go and check on Thursday. She was very upset earlier.
*The character arrives at the hotel, where they meet Raven, Dortmund and Sericea.*
Dortmund: Is it over?
Raven: For now... the villagers have all been knocked out. The Magus is seeing to them.
<Character>: Any issues up here?
Sericea: We checked the room and then Thursday just wanted to be alone. You're the first we've seen since we locked the door.
Raven: Ok. Let's go in and make sure she's doing alright.
*Drawings of circles cover the room's walls. One of the windows is open and Thursday is nowhere to be found.*
Raven: NO!!!
