@Draycos: Kitsondra being able to navigate the Darkwald at night would a mighty big achievement. I might have let it slip in the past, or I didn't notice her ability to navigate at night, but my idea was the Darkwald is nigh intraversible at night - and very dangerous. I know some of the characters have camped at night and come out fine, and I'm fine with that. The Darkwald is unnatural. A certain dark presence looming over the entire wood creates illusions and tricks that make it practically impossible to find your way back. Yara didn't get lost, she was heading in the correct direction, but the night came to swiftly for her and that darkness took hold of the forest. And these are illusions that not even the Queen of Illusions could overcome. I mean the main road is practically right beside the Stone River at most points; to miss it int he daytime would be foolery. Assuming someone could fly, like Kit, they might have a better chance, but then you'd be leaving everyone on the ground alone. The canopy would block you out so they couldn't follow you. And even if you swooped back down to help them navigate, it wouldn't work, as the two groups would end up in completely separate places. It's an unexplainable phenomenon. Toren might have better vision, but it's not night vision. So he can't see as well as Kit can. @Master K: The Red Lady is another unexplained phenom. There's no set parameters that say what she can and can't do. In divination, she would probably use all three of those methods, but using her keen perception she'd use whatever the subject is most use to. I haven't had time to really delve into the Red Lady yet, but she plays a major role in the overarching scheme of things. I tried to make her original, but the more I imagined her she kept coming out to be like Theresa from Fable. I like to keep some things unknown even to myself. I refuse to define her. I'm not even sure if she's human. She could be a goddess for all I know, or a demon.
