Legendary AdventureGuide!


 Heya! Pinwheel here! You may have seen me WHOOSH-ing around the AQW General Discussion boards (mostly the AQW Art Gallery), but in case you haven't, let me tell you a bit about myself.

I am an aspiring artist, and I've been doing Flash art in the AQW style since way back in 2011 (or 2012... Not sure, but it was already a few years back!) Now I'm currently working as -- only recently-- a volunteer artist for my favorite MMORPG... What else, but AQWorlds!

Now passion (and practice!) sure gets you far. Now I am one of the newest Archknights for the AQW Suggestion Boards, along with Rickyb20. I am still learning the ropes, but I am very happy to have been given the chance to help out and give back to the community which has helped me so much in reaching my aspirations. (Yes, that's you, AQW forumites!)

So, please, ask me questions. Anything goes, so long as it isn't too personal!


Also, please remember the following rules while posting, or else I shall eat your posts:

  • As in every board, please follow the =AE= Comprehensive Forum Rules. And since you're here, the =AQW= Suggestions Forum Rules as well.

    So, why have you become known as Pinwheel? There is a very simple answer to this.
    I got it from the name of a galaxy xD The Pinwheel galaxy/M101. 'Cause I couldn't think of a good username and there was a poster of galaxies hanging in the room. And I like astronomy!

    Why do you love arting so much?
    I don't know, it just comes naturally I guess xD I have a need to physically record the things that go on in my head, so I'd either write them down (which I do from time to time), or just draw them out (like most of the time!)

    I don't have much to say, so have fun!

    Dog goes "woof". Cat goes "meow". What does the pinwheel say? Ding ding di--- oh. No, it's when I spin, the air around me makes "whoosh" sounds.

    Why are you a Gryphonrider?
    'Cause I have this gryphon. And I can ride on it xD And also because I'm such a big fan of the GryphonRider armor in Swordhaven by Aegis!

    Is doing art for AE everything you ever dreamed it would be?
    YES!! It's even more than I dreamed it would be!!

    Any particular artist that you take inspiration from?
    Mostly AQW artists. Dage would be on the front of that list though!

    If you car's odometer reads 105,350 miles and you drive for 50 miles in reverse, what will the odometer read?
    Odo...meter? What is that? Umm, I don't know, guess it depends on how bad the car smells?

    Do you like POG?
    What is that? I do have a labrador, though.

    Also nice art, by the way, some of your sets really fits the style of AQW in the now.

    Why do you specifically do AQW art?
    It's 'cause I really enjoy the game, and I usually draw stuff that I enjoy! (Like how I used to do fan arts of my favorite cartoons as a kid!)

    What inspires you to do your art?
    The really cool AQW and non-AQW game art the AE artists spew out every week! I want to be as good as them someday!
