This skill has been indirectly nerfed into the ground. What I suggest is just buffing the % to make the max capped at 150% and allow it to ignore 10% of your targets defense.

Once again, its skills like this that makes me support the post about class weapons not being affected by kartherax.

I agree a buff is needed for this skill. If my memory recalls correctly massacre was previously over 200% dmg.

I dont remember. But if i do recall correctly it was nerfed beccause of strength, which has been nerfed and reduced countless times since then. Now i dont think it should be 240% again, because that really does seem like a TON. but a buff is due for this skill

The thing is it still does absurd damage, but it costs way too much to ever actually be viable in use. IMO they should lower the cost down and maybe add a defense/resistance ignore, which would really bring the skill back up just with that simple change alone.

In actuality it doesn't do absurd damage. I mean it practically does the same as a tm and his supercharge in a sense after the strength nerf. I think both a def/res ignore along with a buff to 150% max would help.

Along with making class weapons immune to kartherax.

Doesn't solve the problem that BH will never get enough energy to ever cast it at high ranks.

CH has a hard time doing it too but easier than BH since they don't need the enemy to have energy to gain energy.

Oh true, I didn't think about bhs having a hard time. To be quite honest, that calls for static grenade to be reworked instead of buff. Im not much of a fan for lowering the cost of an ultimate skill when one can simply increase their energy. But by reworking static grenade to, idk maybe just increase the regain % to like 85% since it scales with support now

Well I know this post is about mass. But what if static grenade tooks a lot less but it gave a lot more?
Example: takes 150 but gives 200%
I just think that SG takes a lot of energy, beeing mercenary I cant touch the bh's energy because if i take 250 and i get 180 they take over 300 from me.
Maybe if bh tooks less energy merc wouldnt be so dead. And also tm wouldnt mind about a nerf of assimilation because battery would be enough.

I know what you mean. I cant touch it either especially when they use shadow arts. I like that ideam Static charge taking less but giving more. It could even scale with tech at that point. Mercs so dead because we just don't have anything to use and believe me when I say this, but ive tried every viable build for merc and this classes only strong points are hybrid and blood commander. You're not, or you simply wont have enough energy to efficiently use the skills when you have tms draining near 300 with a sword, bounty hunters using shadow arts then draining all your energy (which forces you to either wait to drain them which is 4 turns or risk taking an insanely low amount), chs nuking you completely and regaining it back with static, and blood mages semi-pressuring you to use what you have while you still can. If anything, to be quite honest, this class would be ideal with something like Battery Backup or a crazy buff to static smash

Ikr, I think if all energy skills taked less, there wouldnt be problems about skills and their energy requeriment. Assimilation might take 100 and give 100%, Energy Parasite can take a max of 10% and give x.3 or something like that. Massacre wouldnt be dead about it high energy requeriment, and this will also happen with Supercharge and Surgical. (Make a post about it if you want)
Returning to the subject, I support a buff for massacre, and I preffer making it stronger. As the best skill of the hunters, it needs a high requeriment.
Giving a higger % would be enough. Back in delta, massacre builds didnt need this skill at max, but now at a low lvl it doesnt work. If this skill had a higher % like it used to have, then people would use it at a low level. And maybe in the case of CH, they might use it at the highest level.

How about making the regain scale with dex, and either keeping the drain scaled to either tech or supp.

Will never be possible until parasite stops being %-based.

Tried it a ton and parasite ruins any build that tries to run high levels of their ultimate. Just by playing against a BM you probably already lost the game when running this specific type of build.
