I've heard that houses aren't really worth it anymore. Is it because people don't want to wait the 4+ years it takes for the value to double? Do people just spend tokens as soon as they get them on GGBs now?

Houses used to have higher interest which on the short term produced a fair amount of tokens for spendings, however their diminished values makes it so that the player may be locking away tokens for a good amount of time that may interfere with spending to get the desired GGB rarity if they have strict budgets as opposed to simply purchasing packages when tokens at hand are low, which would allow interest to accumulate.

I read to get the free giftbox for being a Guardian you have to win a battle each month.
Do you also have to win a battle each month to get the free giftbox from museum?

Neither require a battle, all you have to do is log in.

Well i personally don't mind having 25 potions one click away from me and a LOT of extra inventory slots and if you get one a portal or guards - the ability to afk lvl during wars. Tokens are only part of it all.

What would people say are some good changes to the Darkovian estate from the comprehensive estates guide?

Darkovia Mansion Estate:
1. Mega World Portal
2. Corn Field
3. Woodcutter Shack
4. Stone Pit
5. Dark Mana Collector
6. Graveyard
7. Vegetable Garden
8. Mana Collector
9. Fishing Pond
10. Trade Hut
11. Guard Tower
12. Storage Building 1
13. Storage Building 2
14. Ye Olde Eatery

This is what I have, except the 2nd storage building, and I'm just getting back into the game after quite a few years (since this guide was last updated really) and I noticed a ton of new items and that estates were cheaper now. I bought a Darkovian estate again bc I had a level 10 Dark Mana collector, and notice that there's like II versions of most items. Basically just asking what *theoretically* would be the best warring setup for the the Darkovian Mansion Estate with unlimited funds.

Your best buy is "beanstalk" to double your plots. After that just buy all the II versions to add to what you already have to double your resource production.

If you wish just see my character page for an example, thou it's not darkovia. HERE is my production an hour(not counting Ye Olde Eatery *2 bonus).

Unrelated to warring but buy a museum (and build it) for a free golden gift box each month you log in. It will take some time to break even on that however.

Whoah! I didn't know Beanstalk doubled plots. I thought it just added +1 slot so you could get 15. That's incredible.

It's 1 plot per lvl of beanstalk for an additional 15 plots in total. Which is double the standard 15 you normally have with high end estates.

FYI your darkovia has one unused plot so you do have 15 not 14.

I'm curious to know if it's possible to max out all the plots on a Deren estate with a beanstalk? I currently have 2 unused plots, and I can't find anything to fill them with...

Do houses go on sale for Black Friday? I'm considering buying the Skycastle Mansion Estate but if I can get it half off, that's a no-brainer.

EDIT: Actually, would buying it on sale affect the weekly value increase?

^ yes they can go on sale and
quote:

Question: I have players heard about making a profit off their houses. How does this work?
Answer: Your house's sellback increases over time. The initial sell back price is 90% of the original buying price. The value of the house will increase by 1% of its original buying price every 2 weeks in total, starting from when you first bought it. The sellback is updated every day. In other words, it increases by about 0.07% every day. There is no cap to the house values.
This only applies to the house's buying price. None of the house items increases the amount of interest your house generates.

It's based on what you pay at time of purchase so yes.

I see, thanks. So if I want the house to make a profit, it’s actually better to buy it at full price, then?

Correct, buying it at a discount will also mean it generates less interest.

Questions about the interest on old houses. I just looked at my two alt characters and was wondering if I should keep their "legacy" interest rates. I add quotations because I'm not sure when I bought them. IIRC they made an update that nerfed interest rates and did it again when they changed ztoken pricing. Anyways here are the houses that they have. I think they update daily instead of hourly so correct me if I'm wrong

Beach Tiki hut - cost 938, value 5384, went up 1 token since last night

Darkovia log house - cost 3750, value 28790, went up 4 tokens since last night

I can't keep up with the interest changes so I'm wondering if I should sell these and get a pricier house for better interest or should I keep them cause they generate more due to older legacy standards. Or did the new update affect everything so it doesn't change either way?

Thanks as always!

No the change to interest affected ALL houses, all that matters is how much you bought the house for.

Okay so it doesn't matter if I buy or sell it for some legacy rate. is the daily rate at 0.07% like I read somewhere or something else?

Of Beanstalk, the Storage Buildings and Ye Olde Eatery, which if any have their functionality affected by invasions? I ask because they don't have typical hourly resource production rates and coincidentally are among the few buildings that can level past 10 where they'd be more prone to invasions without especially high guard power.

Storage and beanstalk shouldn't matter. While Eatery I either don't know or can't remember, been a long time since I had it invaded.
Passive effects aren't normally affected so it comes down to how eatery is coded, is it modifying the production of the other buildings or producing it's own of an equal amount. I just have no idea.

edit:

Capt. says Eatery doesn't work when invaded.

Is there a list of highest value by sell back?

Helpful!

@Above Highest Price = Highest Sellback and Interest.

Just buy the most expensive house you can afford if you want it solely for the sellback.

Thanks but I was wondering if there was a site that ranked players by value of house. In other words if my estate is worth 66k tokens where it might fall on the list.
If not then I am more likely to sell and follow your suggestion.
