Underworld Legion Minion

Magic Water guest, neutral BtH lean and base/random leans. MC effect is that it toggles between +5% damage or paying MC and 50% of guest damage (so total of 33% Melee) to attempt a Water Burn on the enemy. 33% Melee on a 50% save doubles to 66% Melee, /0.85 since it has to hit, and split it among four turns. The Burn attack has two hits, so the Burn lasts <Hits*2> turns, and deals (66/0.85/4 = ~19.41)% Melee per turn. 50% save, inflicts with CHA/LUK, mob resists with DEX/LUK.

For Riftwalker - the text popups for the attack modes are inverted compared to the infosub, though this is probably a bug.

I'm also not really understanding the 37.4 blocking cap for her either. If XSTAT is 250 (assuming that is what it is) then STAT needs to be 520 to hit that number according to the given formula. Is this a mistake or am I being dumb?

@Above

Blocking cap simply exists so that you can't get it too crazy (most booster type pets/guests have caps these days to prevent things from getting out of hand), while it is still very hard to reach. For standard use (assuming 250 Main Stat + 250 CHA and no other stat increases) the pet should be providing about 24.28 MRM against fire enemies.

Edit: but yes your math is correct STAT does have to be 520, i.e. MainStat + CHA has to equal 1040.

@IMR I am sadly going to have to agree with @Andlu above... The MC just doesnt do enough for the guest throughout the course of a battle id much rather the MC be given another effect even if for flavor

Note: Pet's not out quite yet, need to do some more tweaking with it, but the numbers are all accurate.

Hedgemog Pet/Guest

Energy pet/guest, 0.2 base lean and neutral BtH lean, attack is 2 hits. MC on them is a toggle between three modes by clicking on them, idle, normal mode (default), and supersonic mode. In idle mode, they simply sit and do nothing. In normal mode, they charge 0.833...% or 1.25% (for pet or guest, respectively) of a normal CostLvl mob's rings gold reward (GPCost1) to deal +15% damage. In supersonic mode, they charge 2.5...% or 3.75% (for pet or guest, respectively) of a normal CostLvl mob's rings gold reward (GPCost2) to deal a total of +35% damage, for aesthetics they'll also attack twice in these turns, but they'll still only deal +35% damage total. In short, during normal mode, they'll do two hits for 115% damage total, and in supersonic mode they'll do four hits for 135% damage.

On your first turn with them out, they'll bring up a popup just to confirm that you know that using them to attack causes them to spend gold, confirming it's okay stops the popup for the rest of the login, declining sticks them in idle mode.

I'm unsure of how this scales to a damage/gold equivalence, given the MC bonus of Spirit of [Holiday] Miscs. This would seem to imply that 5% of a normal monster's gold is worth 36% of a standard melee attack?

Magic Light pet. Toggles between a normal +5% damage MC and an EleVuln MC. EleVuln mode deals -50% damage (so the total paid is 22% Melee for half pet damage + 5% pet damage MC) but attempts to inflict a 1 turn +(Hits*31.43)% EleVuln (22*2/1.4), max 2 hits, inflict with CHA/LUK and resist with INT/LUK, 50% save.

From Blarney '20: Gildead/Un-Lead Leprechaun & Gleaming/Toxic Silver Studdead Leprechaun. Kam says:

Light and Darkness pets, respectively. Gildead/Gleaming are Light and toggle between +5% damage or attempting to inflict Blind. Blind mode is a 2-hit attack that pays 50% pet damage and MC (so 22% Melee total) to attempt a 4 turn -(9.25*MobLightRes*Hits/2) BtH Blind, inflicts with CHA/LUK, mob resists with DEX/LUK, 50% save. Un-Lead/Toxic are Darkness and toggle between +5% damage or attempting to inflict Darkness Poison. Poison mode is a 2-hit attack that pays 50% pet damage and MC (so 22% Melee total) to attempt a 4 turn (11*Hits/2/0.85)% Melee damage Poison, if both hits connect it does 12.94% Melee damage, inflicts with CHA/LUK, mob resists with END/LUK, 50% save. The Silver version scales, players get both Gleaming and Toxic versions if they qualify.

From the April Fools '20 quest: Grounded Chibi Loco. Kam says:

Earth clone of Chibi Loco. Magic pet, 8 elemental versions, 0.9 random lean. During the month of April, becomes MCed for everyone. Outside of April it's MCed for Guardians. During April, the MC effect is triple strength. MC effect is a bonus +0% to +10% damage per hit. This bonus is tripled during April, so during April it can deal anywhere from +0% - +30% damage, outside of April it's just +0% - +10% damage, and only for Guardians.

Updated Werebunny guest (from today's release)

Element-seeks between:
  • 1 hit, Melee Earth, -8 BTH lean
  • 1 hit, Ranged Wind, +8 BTH lean

Also in today's release: Mutant Egg Pet. Kam says:

Melee pet, comes in various elements. MC effect is different from prior pets in that it has a toggle, but this is not a damage/status toggle, but instead toggles between two effects. One mode has it attempt to Paralyse the enemy, it pays 50% pet damage + MC (so total of 22% Melee) for a (43.5*MobEleRes)% chance to attempt a 1-turn Paralyse.

The other mode has the pet pay 50% pet damage + MC (so total of 22% Melee) to give the player a damage reduction effect similar to the Grakma Hide shield. Similar to Dunamis and the like, this effect will give you 50% of it base, and the other 50% based on PlayerCHA/ExpectedCHA. Grakma is worth 5% Melee, so we take whatever Grakma does and have it worth *(11/5) for the base, and then the same amount *PlayerCHA/ExpectedCHA.

So at level 150, you can reduce 30.8 hp/hit with 250 CHA?

    7*11/5=15.4 for base
    Then 15.4*cha/expcha

Add those together for 30.8hp if you meet the expected CHA?

Apparently the damage reduction is only 14hp currently, bug?

Also, does the light version protect again light attacks, or dark attacks? answered, it actually reduces damage of all elements.

Finally, if this pet has celerity, will you get twice the damage reduction? answered, yes it does.

    EFFECT
  • Click on her right hand to have her swap what she does. This changes the colour of her dress and gives a quick pop-up telling you what she'll now do. She will give you a choice of 3 abilities.

*#I'll attack that nasty «monster» for you, my dear.
*I'm ready to attack your foe, my dear.
*I'm ready to heal your wounds, my dear.
‡‡I'm ready to restore your mana, my dear.

    DESCRIPTION
This lovely lady will take good care of you. She'll heal you, restore your mana, or even attack your enemy with Ice attacks. Just click her hand to ask her to change how she helps. Happy Mother's Day!

    Analysis

Starts off as a standard pet:
    Type G
    Level	5	15	35	55	75	95	115	135	150
    PowLvl	5	15	35	55	75	95	115	135	153

    Damage	2-5	3-9	6-18	10-28	14-41	19-55	24-72	30-90	36-107
    Stat%	99.75	149.25	248.25	347.25	446.25	545.25	644.25	743.25	832.35
    BTH	1	3	8	13	18	23	28	33	38
Damage Mode: Deals 100% damage. With two equally powerful hits, each hit does *1/2 damage.
HP Healing Mode: Deals *0.75 damage due to being always useful(-10%) and for the fact it auto-hits(-15%). With three equally powerful hits, each hit does *1/3 damage.
MP Healing Mode: Deals *0.75*1.5 damage due to being always useful(-10%) and for the fact it auto-hits(-15%), and is given a *1.5 bonus since it's hitting your MP. With three equally powerful hits, each hit does *1/3 damage.

All this has ALREADY been factored in the above numbers.
