Attack Type 1 - Approaches its target and strikes it downwards twice with its scythe-like arms for 2 hits of 50% Magic Fear damage, for a total of 100% damage, inflicting 'Terrified' to stun its target for one turn.
Attack Type 2 - Charges up a ball in its mouth and shoots four wisps at its target for 3 hits of 34% Magic Fear damage, for a total of 102% damage, inflicting:
Attack Type 3 - Approaches its target and strikes it downwards twice with its scythe-like arms for 2 hits of 100% Magic Fear damage, for a total of 200% damage.
- 'Blinded by Fear', -75 Bonus on its target for 4 turns, on the first use.
- 'Crippled by Fear', -75% PowerBoost on its target for 4 turns, on the second use.
- 'Twisted by Fear', -200 Crit on its target for 4 turns, on the third use.
Feargeists follows the skill rotation; Attack Type 1 -> Attack Type 2 (×3) -> Attack Type 3; repeating Attack Type 3 indefinitely beyond this point.
Feargeists vary in damage range and HP. Some have a high damage range with low HP, and vice versa.
Feargeists are invisible in the quests they appear in. The reason behind this has been clarified by Inanitas, the writer of the Thorns Saga:
They only target one person at a time, hence why they are invisible until they engage
This is because they can't simulate two people's fears at once
