Location: The Exaltia Tower: The Antechamber
Level: As player
Damage Type: Weakness seeks
Experience rewarded: Scaled
Gold rewarded: Scaled
Melee: 10 + Level*3/10 + LUK/20

Magic: 10 + Level*3/10 + LUK/20
Crit: 10 + LUK/10
Attack Type 1 / 1.1 - Samaranth recovers 2.5% of its max HP, and performs an attack based on the value of the target's Defenses;
Attack Type 2 - Samaranth slashes at its target for 2 hits of 100% Good damage.
- If target has high* Defenses, Samaranth levitates, summoning a wall of shimmering hexagonal mirrors, reflecting onto the target for 1 hit of 100% Good damage; applies 'Celestial Mirror' (raising all of its Defenses by values equal to half of the target's Defenses before Level/LUK modifiers) to itself for 2 turns. (Pop-up: The Celestial mirrors a portion of your defense and avoidance!)
- If target has low* Defenses, Samaranth slashes at its target thrice for 6 hits of 100% Fear damage.
Attack Type 3 - Samaranth recovers 2.5% of its max HP; slashes at its target for 2 hits of 100% Good damage.
Attack Type 4 - Samaranth slashes at its target twice for 4 hits of 100% Fear damage.
This monster's stats can change based upon the decisions the player makes while ascending the Exaltia Tower.
This monster's attacks seek either Magic, Pierce or Melee damage depending on what the player has the least combined avoidance and defense against.
*Attack rotations dependant on target Defenses are linked to Samaranth's Bonus by the following relationships:
Samaranth follows the skill rotation; Attack Type 1 / 1.1 -> Attack Type 2 -> Attack Type 3 -> Attack Type 4 -> Repeat.
- If the target's M/P/M Avoidance and B/P/D Defense values are all greater than or equal to Samaranth's Bonus less 20, the target's Defenses are considered to be "high".
- If the target's M/P/M Avoidance and B/P/D Defense values are all less than Samaranth's Bonus less 20, the target's Defenses are considered to be "low".
