Yeah and this pretty much confirms that Lock and Key are part of the Maleruous. They did appear first time after Calamity saga finale, where the Maleurous were released.

I was wondering if those 2 hooded maleurous are indeed Lock and Key (i'm 90% they are) and they are the colleagues who Remthalas mentioned. Wouldn't that mean that Remthalas is the leader of the Maleurous? He pretty much used Mr Nameless as a pawn (RIP MR TWINKLES) we also know he at least got 2 more colleagues and his kind of Kathool dream power makes him really OP. I mean how do you defeat someone who just makes you unconscious with a literally a snap???

I was sure Remthalas was talking about Lock and Key too. Which was why I was adamant that they would be behind this war. Guess I was wrong on that one! It would make sense that they would be showing up again next.

And I still find Lock and Key far more intimidating them Remthalas, honestly. The elf may have Kathool-inspired mind tricks but Lock and Key are on whole other level of weird. That and they've supposedly worked their shenanigans without the Avatars themselves noticing...

On a side note, I wonder how much faster this war would go by if the team put in an option to prevent attack animations, skipping right to the dammage indicator appearing and your pet or enemy takin a turn, also without animations.

It would be soulless and dull, but dang it if farming medals wouldn't be faster.

Howdy! Despite playing DF for years, somehow this is my first actual war. Aside from the one wave I apparently completed in Song of the Atalea. I've got a couple of questions...

1) What are "skeletons?" I understand the term "skeleton crew," but how does it relate to this situation?

2) What are rare waves good for? Just that they take less time to complete?

3) When does the counter freeze? I thought it stopped counting at 1001, but I'm at ~1900 right now, and it's still ticking upwards.

1) skeletons is just what the skeleton crew is called, the skeleton crew are the warmongers who are active in time slots the majority of the playerbase is either busy or asleep

2) pretty much

3)currently 10001 or something, i remember them stating that they increased how high it went around the black winter war i think, i might have mis-remembered something

"Skeletons" is what we call people like myself who live in different timezones and are active during the slow period when most warmongers are asleep, referred to as the "Skeleton Hours".

Yup! They're quick, and come up less often!

I think the counter goes all the way to 9999 but don't quote me on that. :P
