 Top of the Hour Wave Count Update
NOTE: Given how the war counter appeared to be 1/3rd complete at 3 million waves, I have assumed the new total to be 9 million (300 percent). All calculations are based off of this number.

We have defeated 3,128,832 waves since the war started, 32,410 waves since the last update 60 minutes ago.

Our current speed is 540 wpm , 35 wpm faster than the last update. At this speed it will take us 7 days 13 hours 9 minutes to defeat the remaining 5,871,168 waves.

Next Milestone
We are currently at 104 percent. To reach 200 percent, we need 2,811,168 more waves. At our current speed, this will take us 3 days 14 hours 44 minutes.

Star's Unofficial Deadline:
I challenge you all to finish this war in one week! To finish the war by Midnight (11:59pm) Server Time on Friday the 20th, we need a speed of 1378 WPM.

I will be going on holiday in a couple of days and I will most likely have no internet so I won't get to see this war play out. Oh well. Best of luck fellow heroes I'll thrash as many out as I can before I have to leave.

Finally, I can be happy for what came out of this war.

I was like " No! It's ending... "

But then...

It turned out, that we barely had even started the real war, that I suspected from the beginning! Finally, two Malerous going down in one big swoop of a war. Count me in for the Round two, too!

Dove and Verly pulled a sneaky on us, totally saw it comming though but i did not expect the way that it was done.

also it might just be my train of thought but i think the reason the avatars want the malerous gone isn't because they are evil but because they have the potential to be destructive(which is why they refuse to tell us what they have done since they didn't really do anything untill they begin to attack)- MR.Twinkles would have been harmless if only he had found a friend to play with him and if sinnocence had a better controll over himself or if his destiny side was more dominant he might have just sat down quietly and bothered no one, Can't say the same about Rem rem as of yet since we don't really know his deal but i assume that at the very least he has his reasons.

 Huh, no more rare waves.

Have we seen these monsters before? I googled the names of some of them, pasikdhar and karabasan, and they're some sort of night hag, one of those folklore explanations for sleep paralysis.

I.... errrrr... I just had a thought about something.

Rem's exact words were "reach the end before the last sand falls and she'll be free" or something.

The last time Rem said something was free was 30 seconds before that after KILLING MR NAMELESS.#

...I do not like this implication.

What if Rem is counting on us winning the war? After all, we are heroes, we'd go to SUCH great lengths to save a child.

@blowthemandown: The monsters are based off of supernatural creatures that cause sleep paralysis/nightmares/etc.. Also the rare waves are piranhas iirc.

I think it's not necessarily so because they have the potential to bring destruction, but to bring change. Last time Fiamme was interrupted by celeritas... Seems like the avatar just want to enforce the current 'order' and do not take forces well that might change that...

If you also consider the fact that there's no visible timer for this war...


P.S. May I also mention that the soundtrack and the animation for this cutscene was superb?

^ Oh for sure. I'm surprised Dove had a cutscene that long already cooked up and waiting for us.

I've been thinking about what Remthalas said about Sally being "free" too. Might have to watch that cutscene again so I can see what he said in that instant before he left.

So I had another look. Something like "Although it would be your fault", then he calls us Hero. Also, I noticed that one of the lines at the end of a wave says "What if this isn't the right thing to do?"

I don't think losing would be a risk worth taking though...
