I think the shield should just be moving the same potency it has to -10, then lower MRM to 8-7-7 like doomlight and I think it should be fine. If you compare it to doomlight after that, you have the same MRM and resist on both, but doomlight gets backlash potency and actual backlash, whereas this would get a better version of backlash potency...as backlash potency in theory is included, but its more broad for other effects..and it gets nothing else. To me, that seems fair. The problem I have right now is unless I missed it, I still don't know what the current effect actually helps. I want a total list of things it helps inflict to gain a better understanding of how good or not good the shield is. We can guess using common sense all we want, but I still want an official explanation...ie the info subs is not detailed enough. For FSB, we tend to take one item and give it something. Why not take all the items and give them a small tweak for a FSB, so that collectively its adds up. Or what about this? So we have Armor, Weapon, Shield, Pet, Misc.... Maybe for very item equipped, you gain 10% more damage or effect... So If I have the armor and pet, the pets gets 10%, the armor gets 10%. If I have the weapon and misc, the weapon get 10%, the misc gets 10%. 3 items is 10% on 3 items. That way you still get partial FSB no matter what, and the FSB rewards for higher donations... If I won the armor, I also get all the items so therefore, my donations also granted me 10% over 5 items. I personally won 2 of the items. So if I have the shield and the misc equipped, the shield gets 10% better effect, and the misc is 10% better damage on both ice mode and backlash mode. Make it linear to the number of items you have, rewarding the donation winners not too unlike the actual items you recieved... And do this in addition to the shield suggestion Ive made.
