I have an issue when clicking on any of the Estate buildings, I think,
the dark Red background doesn't really match with the Black text color and it hurts the eyes.

dark Red background <= #b32d2e (about this hex value?)

https://make.wordpress.org/core/files/2021/02/wordpress-admin-color-palette-WP57.png

Would it be possible to change to light Red background or White background like in the past or light Blue/Green background?

I would prefer to have this old White background. https://i.imgur.com/Tc2EwZB.jpg

I agreed. Whoever have color blind and they should add color blind set and allows them able to see it.

Thanks a lot to the Team for changing to the White (?) background with Black text color.

It looks now excellent, no issue anymore.

Unfortunately after defending a building on your estate you still cannot go straight back to your house.

it takes three buttons which are two clicks too many:-
Return to Town then House then House Door

WE NEED a house door on the screen after the battle with an invader.

I also agree with other people that the Return to Town button would be better placed in the very bottom right corner of the screen.

.*. .*. .*.
Pfft hahaha!

A really interesting update regarding the exhaust army.
I was hoping that attacking with guards would have been more effective by now, but unfortunately it is the opposite.
My guard tower is lvl 15 and I decided to attack once with the guards for the following cost:

Food 3722
Wood 931
Stone 931

The above gives attack power 4655, and it defeated 86 enemies!
In comparison with using my Trescol painting with 200 attack power for the cost of 110 energy and 40 food, and I believe it defeats between 4-9 enemies per turn.

I am aware that guards have the function of protecting your estate buildings from getting invaded, but if you look at the cost of the portal + 1 painting vs the cost of high level guards, it is apparent that guards are not really woth their z-token cost, at least not for sending armies. I would be very happy if guards could be more valuable.

Other than that I think it would be great if you would have the option to drag and drop the buildings as you want on your estate without losing any levels.

Another thing I think should be looked at is the cooldown for certain buildings, the storage buildings will take you months to complete.
Maybe a gold cost to reduce the cooldown a bit, would be nice.

Another consuing thing is the random battle vs battle nearby button. Does anyone fight monsters by their estate using these buttons?
The random battle in Battleon is much better and I would suggest to remove these buttons.

Very nice that one is able to sort the guards now.

Lastly I think the museum should be looked at as well at some point.
A museum fully leveled, could grant you to obtain rares, however only as temporary versions for a gold cost.

No matther what, I still think this was a good update and in the right direction.

Didn't see this mentioned anywhere, but it looks like once the Trade Hut hits level 15, you don't lose any resources when doing trades. Used to be at level 12, you'd still have a net loss on your trades unless you traded for 300 of a resource at once.

Would it possible to update the House's healing ability to speed up the same way when clicking on the fountain to fully heal yoursel?

This can help a lot to reduce the time of XP/Gold farming especially for someone with multiple ( < L150 ) (new) characters.

To full heal with the fountain when using the Visit/Specific Neighbor for XP/Gold farming, but it requests the House ID# to fill in every time.

Added levels 13, 14 and 15 to Trade Hut Estate Resource Building with the following extra resource trading:
--Lvl 13 - x2 trade
--Lvl 14 - x3 trade
--Lvl 15 - x5 trade

There is a issue as there is no x1 option you cannot go back to it once you click x2/x3/x5 to trade remaining resource.

@Broccoli Ah thanks for that didn't try that. Guess it is not as intuitive (thanks @PD)

^^ They should probably fix that because you can't figure that out unless you'd had fiddled with the menu for a good while before you were able to see that you could even do that. Certainly that's not intuitive and not a workable UI. Otherwise that's not really an acceptable thing to let around.

Also, a general reflection of the much-prolonged Blarney war at this point (and in extension, the estate update in general), I really hoped they'd fixed how war waves are doled out from war portals. They did not do this at the time of this thread, though I hope there's another update in the wakes that would *actually* do this. In addition to the previous comments about how the auto-send feature is now extremely slow with full resources, there's still the gaps that exist that: (which I have noted before, but feel that I must do this again because this recent war has made this even more apparent)

1. gives you way more rewards with a half-send versus full-send. Full send should give you more, and these numbers should be consistent enough. Otherwise it's an annoyance that people have to either resort to extra-official means or go through repetitive clicking to get optimal rewards by spamming half-sends until you run out. There's also been requests (which I'd wanted too) to be able to auto-convert resources when detected (a certain popular tool exists out there that already does this). At this point the only reason I don't exploit this is because doing this would trigger carpal tunnel in the long run of things.

2. caps army send rewards at 7 reputation instead of 10. Why would we possibly want to discourage people from getting max reputation? This makes no actual sense. It's like if AQW's decided to give you everything at rank 7, but any more and they start locking rewards from you again. And in addition to this point, that Trescol gives better rewards than Kairula, yet both are still priced the same.

3. Also regarding the resource conversion, the way that it was done generally is not a good workflow. I would have preferred if they'd just extended the options in the selectable menu with the already existing options of 25-50-150-300. Certainly there's space in the UI to do this. I think it would have also been a lot less work while delivering the same value too. Not only were we at release unable to even use the trade function because of the upgrade timer lock, when we actually got to use it, it became clear the higher count UI was very complicated to use.

4. That the upgrade timers weren't even touched during the update, which is an extension of the above point. With the time it takes to upgrade things, there was no way people were going to be able to have even be able to use these new features without waiting. And I really have to ask, *why* the timers? Do they actually give any value at this point? Otherwise they just encourage people even more to wait out until Black Friday because they know estate items cannot immediately realize their full value until weeks or even months or possibly even longer if they're not attentive to their estates every day.

5. That the Painting scrolling bug wasn't actually fixed. It has solved the issue of us seeing extremely fast moving picture (which could be seizure inducing if you'd visited the estate more than once in a session), but you still have to wait until the blank screen turns into a portrait, and you aren't able to see anything until it stops being blank which is the same amount of time that it used to be before you could actually select a painting. It's just hidden from view now, not actually fixed. But the bug still exists. And navigation of paintings is still bothersome.

I have gained a general reputation in the community for being a complainer (Probably deservedly, though I will say, I do this because I like AQ and I want to see it do good things for us.). I don't want to say the estate update didn't have a lot of value in retrospect despite my points above. It did do some good, but it also left out a lot of gaps that people were asking for, only for them to not be implemented. Yet I cannot be the only one who is disappointed with the way that estates were updated and continue to function. We've never actually had the chance to give proper feedback until it's already done and no other major (but often necessary) changes can be made. While I do like it when areas of the game get updates like this, I have to wonder if new always means better. Forcing upon us a new UI which functions worse than it used to seems to be a poor allocation of resources, at least in my perspective.

1. Staff decides what to change, and announces there's going to be a change.
2. The time allotted to make the change is likely the only time that's actually allotted. No coming back.
3. Players point out after said change what could be even better.
4. See Point #2, so no further improvements.

This is the timeline in most cases. They did get some pre-feedback before the battle log, but the estate changes, battle trainer changes, and new action scroll system at the top of the screen were all.. "HERE IS YOUR CHANGE. BYEBYE.

I wonder if the designers are pulled from other games and are too busy to come back as they likely also have weekly promises and are also relatively spread thin, too.

It is what it is.

In addition to what PD said above, the exhaust always defaults to Trescol, even if you choose Kairula.

I noticed that with the exhaust going to Trescol, so I put the Portal to Trescol into my shared vault, so now Kairula is the only option in the portal. Not perfect, but it works as a workaround.

We value player feedback and continually discuss it regardless of how limited availability and schedule constraints make it difficult to offer any guarantees of its implementation, or the timing thereof.

There's no such thing as a categorical refusal or inability to revisit content once released, as evidenced by the very topic being discussed, and we most certainly never presented the UI changes as some content drop with no room for feedback. This has been the timeline in precisely no cases for years at the very least, let alone most.
