Book 3: Convergence: The Point of No Return (Part 1)
Hey there, heroes!

This week, we begin our descent into Book 3's finale arc: Convergence! While you and the Greenguard Alliance are returning from the Northlands, historic developments are underway in Swordhaven...

As Warlic and Amadeus try to warn Queen Victoria of the impending danger, Jaania takes the next step in her journey to save Lore...

Head over to Book 3 Swordhaven and speak to Queen Victoria to begin Convergence with The Point of No Return (Part 1)!

Also this week, we have a few bugfixes and updates!

Added an option to restart the Greenguard Alliance through Awakened Depths quest lines. Even if you do reset the quests, you will still be able to play Convergence.
Female Pirate Voidsailer Shoulder customization now properly matches skin tone.
Fixed being unable to re-open the Book of Lore after claiming ArchKnight rewards in Book 1 Falconreach.
The Stolen Rose Mace III now has the correct art.
Fixed an issue where Duat would not unlock properly in the Sandsea walkaround after completing "Life Finds a Way".
Fixed an issue with the badge "The ArchKnight" obtained by completing Batoro's quests, where it was instead tied to the Book 1 Tomix saga.
And that's all for this week!

All the pieces are lining up neatly.
Looking forward to seeing what comes.

Some minor impatience, that we dont get more, but I can understand that these things take time. :)
Brilliant. :D

Yo, the discussion forums updated, nice.

spoiler:

So as expected the Deadlands rift is kicking into overdrive now with this rift being an invasion much like Doomwood's rift started out. The fact that the attacks are seemingly more organized might mean we'll be dealing with more reasonable sentient elementals here like the Lagohmorphs instead of a Tytan/Warbeast that brings rainfall unless we end up dealing with both outcomes and these elementals are just holding a Tytan back. Additionally, I'm curious if these elementals are similar to the Lagohmorphs, in terms of intellect, then I'm curious as to whether or not this rift opened up near or in the the respective elemental plane of Water that Neso had control over or if this just happened to open up in a part of the Elemental Wastes in which water elementals have managed to maintain dominance.

The Deadlands being flooded in general is concerning considering how much ancient evil stuff, as well as other artifacts, is often lying around that area so I do wonder if the rainfall has potentially unearthed anything left behind...or perhaps submerged it in mud. There's also of course still the matter of Myalos' left behind Dragonoid body and whether or not they and it might prove to be an asset with this last rift. Further still of course are the remains of the Avatar's firmament. Admittedly, I'm not sure what can be done with it considering that only the platform that we stood upon with Uaanta and Notha was tossed into the Deadlands but who knows maybe our enemies will prove resoruceful.

Curiously though as Sepulchure pointed out is Circe's supposed loyalty to Victoria. I do wonder now if something could have happened to have encouraged her to be genuinely loyal to Victoria beyond simply being paid well.

And then there's Jaania's attempt at healing Brittany and while I'm hoping nothing happens to Brittany as a result of Jaania's little experiment my expectations at the moment are not high. Still can't really shake the feeling that Hesperhodos being seemingly corrupted is what's going to make this whole plan fall apart.

Though I do find it a nice touch that Brittany's soul appears to be attuned towards the element of light.

Either way, get your energy/fire weapons ready Heroes because we have a rift to burn.

The forums are back, huzzah!

spoiler:

So we're seeing Battleon again after... How long? Since it was built? It'll be good to see Yulgar again and check up on how the town's been fairing.

Also it seems Sepulchure and Warlic will have their audience after all. I kinda doubt Circe's just going to let them dodge her question about Amadeus surviving Akanthus' attack though. Hopefully they a better response for Victoria...

Seppy seemed pretty familiar with Circe too. Was she working for him back during that business with Vilmor and Frostscythe? It's been a while since I played through that questline.

And I guess that giant orb of mana at the Ivory Tower's apex wasn't just for show! Makes enough sense though, considering the Oculus Tower had something very similar. We all remember what happened to that though... I just hope Jaania's little experiment with Brittany isn't nearly as disastrous!

Edit: I looked it up; she was working for Frostscythe. Seems obvious now.

Friendly!

@Nediphile: Thanks for covering these last few DNs!
spoiler:

I am very interested in seeing the interaction between Warlic, Amadeus, and Victoria (and possibly Alteon?). Going back to Battleon should also be interesting; have we seen any mention of it since the Fire War? If so, I don't recall. I'm so excited for what's coming!
