*You arrive at the Forest of Infinite Terror, where you visit Big Daddy as it is Hero's Heart Day; it appears that you received an emergency message from Big Daddy.*
Big Daddy: Oh yeah, the hero of the hour has arrived!
<Character>: I got your message, Big Daddy. It said you had some kind of emergency. Again.
<Character>: What happened this time?
Big Daddy: There's no need to be so judgmental, <Character>! This is a place of love!
Big Daddy: But I digress! This time, it is truly an emergency!
<Character>: ...Go on.
Big Daddy: Odium is stirring.
<Character>: Didn't we beat up his heart or something a while ago? It's already coming back?
Big Daddy: Back then, I told you I destroyed him, right?
Big Daddy: Well, that was only technically true.
Big Daddy: With Love's help, we managed to cut him up into pieces, chaining them underneath the forest.
Big Daddy: The heart, of course, thanks to your lovely actions, was denied a chance to return.
Big Daddy: But something's gone wrong, baby!
Big Daddy: I don't know if it's all the hate and anger recently or what, but things in the forest are moving.
Big Daddy: Shifting.
Big Daddy: Odium stirs, <Character>, and we have to be prepared for when he next emerges!
<Character>: ...We can't just... go and beat up his arms and legs while they're still chained?
Big Daddy: Of course not! That wouldn't be nearly as cool, baby! And decisive!
Big Daddy: If the power of Love doesn't win out in spectacular fashion, it won't be enough to crush Odium's hatred...
Big Daddy: ... and he'll return again sooner than we'd like!
<Character>: Again? He's returned before?
Big Daddy: This happens every thousand of years or so, you know how it is. This time seems a bit earlier than scheduled though, by a few hundred years.
*Big Daddy pauses after warning you of Odium's eventual return; after pausing, Big Daddy switches topics.*
Big Daddy: But that's not something for you to be concerned about!
Big Daddy: Anyway, Love tells me they have full faith in my ability to find a champion to train in time.
Big Daddy: So I thought to myself, "Big Daddy, who could be the next Champion of Love? Oh yeah! <Character>!".
Big Daddy: You've been so helpful after all, like you're a hero or something!
<Character>: I am a hero. A very busy one, too.
Big Daddy: No way, baby! I feel like you might have mentioned that at some point.
<Character>: You literally called me a hero earlier when I arrived!
Big Daddy: Yes, good, well then, we can skip "Anatomy of a Sword 101" and "How to Light a Candle For Novices: Your First Fire Spell".
*Seeing that you're a capable hero, Missy throws a bundle of books she is holding to the right.*
Big Daddy: Yes, oh yes, I think we can move straight to reliving the past in vivid and completely accurate detail!
<Character>: ...How exactly are we going to do that?
Big Daddy: A wonderful question! I've actually prepared something extra special just for this occasion!
Big Daddy: As you know, I've been known to dabble in the creation of a magical potion or few.
Big Daddy: Missy, if you'd be so kind, baby?
*Missy holds a pair of pink potions from her hands.*
Big Daddy: Now this is a special pair of potions!
Big Daddy: Whoever drinks the left one will be able to enter the mind of whoever drinks the right one! Temporarily, and not physically, of course.
Big Daddy: ...Or was it the other way around? Probably should have labeled them.
Big Daddy: Regardless, you chug one, I sip the other, and you'll have a ticket to my glorious palace of the mind...
Big Daddy: ... where I'll walk you through my memories of the war against Odium!
<Character>: And if we get the potions wrong? What about side effects?
Big Daddy: If we get them mixed up, then you'll be walking me through whatever's rattling around in your pretty little head, baby!
Big Daddy: Educational experience, oh yeah!
Big Daddy: As for side effects, I suppose there's a tiny risk of you never being able to return to your own consciousness...
Big Daddy: ... and I end up with a new roommate bouncing around in my braincase, but...
Big Daddy: Even if that happens, I'm sure we'd be able to figure something out! Love always comes through, baby!
<Character>: Odium coming back is really, really, bad, right?
Big Daddy: Oh yeah!
<Character>: I guess... this is for the best then. Okay. Let's do this.
Big Daddy: Down the hatch, baby! Cheers, <Character>!
*Big Daddy drinks his pink potion while you also drink it off screen; you are now teleported to Big Daddy's Mind Palace, where you join with Big Daddy to fight various Odium Cultists.*
Valentidus joins you as Guest A; removed after defeating the boss.
*After defeating all Odium Cultists, you are now teleported back to the Forest of Infinite Terror, where Big Daddy congratulates you for completing his Mind Palace Training Course.*
Big Daddy: Well done, <Character>! Now that you've completed Big Daddy's Mind Palace Training Course, you're all ready to fight Odium!
<Character>: Um. Yeah. I think I was ready before that, actually.
Big Daddy: Wow, such confidence, baby!
<Character>: So, that's it, then?
Big Daddy: That's it! Don't you feel the power of Love welling up inside you, beating fast, just waiting to burst forth?
<Character>: I... feel a little lightheaded?
Big Daddy: Hmm. It'll come eventually, I just know it will! Missy, if you could provide our friend with <his/her/their> homework?
*Missy can be seen carrying your homework, signified by a crate full of books and potions.*
Big Daddy: Love says we have some more time before Odium emerges, so it's up to you to study hard in the meantime!
<Character>: ...Yeah. Sure thing. I'll see you next time, Big Daddy.
Big Daddy: Just remember: Everything depends on you!
Big Daddy: Believe in the power of Love, baby!
*Scene fades to black.*

<Character>: "Okay, fine, that might have been a little bit refreshing."
Valentidus: "Final stretch here, baby! Don't stop now!"
Valentidus: "The last part of your training is just behind this door, baby!"
