Im on the First Firefox,and Nowhere keeps sending me to a blank screen. I cant untrain!

while doing the raid on metalface's lair the last reguler battle i got the blue scroll of doom when i was saveing the battle outcome then when i continued i got the blue scroll of doom and was sent to battleon then i went to travel map and click on raid metalface's lair then i backed out and when i went back to battleon i got this. it also stick's when i go back to the travel map.

when i beat this tank knight on metal face's lair it got stuck on the victory thing but it wouldn't let me continue!
it's so annoying cuz it keeps on happening and i waited for an hour but it still wouldn't stop!Q

The game cant seem to save potions. Had 7 health, 19 mana and went to my house and recovered to 15 health, 19 mana. Went to fight a battle to save the data. Tried relogin but amount of pots are still 7/19.

- Windows XP SP2
- Firefox v2.0.0.4
- Flash player version 9.0.47
- Number of Online Players: 9461


EDIT:
I just tested these steps, and it worked fine.
In order for the Potion count to save, it's necessary to do a battle where you earn Gold and/or XP from the monster.
Maybe you did a battle with no rewards?

 I am a guardian so I shoodnt have a problem logging in but I tried to log in on both servers and the game wil stay on the validating login screen and will not change. I have already tried clearing my cache and all my account info is the same.

-Windows XP
-Internet Explorer 7
-Either server
-Game Upgrade 33.66
-Flash Player 9.0.45.0


EDIT: Problems like this are hard to solve!
* Try using a different web browser, like FireFox
* Try using a different computer or internet connection to help narrow down the problem.

Not Bug: Unaware where else to post.

Seeking way to play this on Palm Os. Requires Flash... so wondering if there's any tech out there aware of a Palm OS supported Flash player...

Since I dont know how to put images in here from my harddrive, yet, I will have to describe the picture in detail, or as best i can as short as i can.

Picture one shows a constant error when trying to use the Stat Trainer - Mage. The bubble for the Mage said, "There was an error while saving the data." The Gold stays in my acct, which is good, however every time i tried to train with him(Neberon), the error occured today.

Also on off peak times the battle start(where the 5 items load up including the Background and Monster), the treasure chests(all versions), take 'forever' to put the save button down, also twice on Aug 1st I had to wait 5 - 10 min to load the monster screen.

I logged in with my high level 93 guy and was playing for a while. Then I hit "log off" and logged in with my lvl 67 guy. When I logged in it said i had 450 health but that it was less then half full. Same thing for my mana. It filled up my health and mana to almost 1000 each. I would get hit and it would knock the number down but the red bar never got touched until it was below 463. Logged out and back in and everything is fine but it looked like it took my health/mana from the lvl 93 and applied it to my lower lvl once i logged out/back in.

Looks like we could have the same Log on Log off problems. I have been logging off but logging back onto the same character. My post just above yours could have been caused by some bug with Log on Log off. Its really hard to load up your specials on the OC, GHA and GDE armors. Im trying to get a high enough level to do the GA... Final Challenge?, and to actually battle Carnax and win (Ill probably be asking help on this part on another forum, and it seems to be difficult not affording the "orbs" that help with their hits so i can get M / R / M Defences up enough, passed 45 in this case.)

 i have an odd bug, i just logged in to find my character leveled up, before i had about 5000 xp left to go. it just magicly was level 96.

browser:IE7
comp:vista
guardian server.


EDIT: Someone else may be using your character.
Try changing your password.

Guardian server is slow tonight. It either stops responding after beating a monster (stuck at saving) or it won't load a new battle. I end up closing the browser and have to login again to fix it. A sideaffect of this "stall-close" method ended up in me losing all my potions in Moglin forest (It locked up when Twilly had all potions and I had to close, thus next time I logged in I only had the default 3). Not sure if it's local at my side or a server problem. Thought you should know anyway.

The newest flash player, don't know what its called. This is a brand new PC.

I'm not really sure if this belongs here, so if it doesn't, someone please point me in the right direction.

I just got a new computer with Windows Vista Ultimate, and I can't seem to be able to play AQ. On my old piece of junk, I could play AQ just fine, but now I get to the Login page and it just says "Validating Login..." forever. Is this a problem with my new operating system or am I missing some key component needed to play AQ?

Thanks in advance for any help you give me.


EDIT: Something is blocking the game from sending information to your computer.
Or your computer is blocking information being sent to the game server.
This could be caused by Vista's firewall settings if they are set too high.

Or the problem could be that when you login, the game saves your current settings to your local hard drive, and something is blocking that.
Could also be Vista's protection stuff.

if you go to the guardian tower and go to get a ridering armor and talk to the kid about the jousting thing when you get to fight a monster in the jousting turnoment and you change you armor its makes you leave but you attack menu stays up wich alows you to bring your guy on the screen and change amror s and wep and you can attack an invisable monster and get xp and gold for killing it but fater its dead evrything gose back to normal

also every time you get damage or use mana it heals you somehow so you could like go to carnax 1 on 1 an kill himm pk him actually ill show a video of it that i made bfore thinking of posting this the bug

i just became an x guardian i had the ability to have 35 potions of each type once but now i can only get 5 health and 23 mana


EDIT: Some places in the game will only give you up to 5 HP potions if you already have 5 or more.
Other places will give you more than 5, like finding random potion treasure chests.

Outsmarting Bugs


 This is a hard one to place, but I'm going here because it seems more a problem with classes in general than with any one specifically.

If you're using a class armor against the woodland pack, and the turtle bomb hits you while you're on the class attack selection menu, the menu disappears and doesn't return, thus freezing the game (although the turtle continues to make its rounds).

Last night I retrained my stats. I had 150 STR/DEX/INT, I changed t the following 175 STR 170 DEX and 115 INT. Well it seems as if I am doing LESS damage with my melee weapons than what I previously was. I can see the difference while wearing Reign Plate. Any ideas?

 I cannot get past a black screen. I log in just fine, then go to the next stage and my charictor appears on a black screen, just the little floating head thing. I havn't gone on for about 6 months. I am an X guardian named Myiuki.

You can't change your email to something with numbers in it: for example, mine has 180 at the end but it always says error game server busy or watever, but I have tried this many times, even when creating a new account!

When doing the "Sinister 7" quest, your return point (place where you go after you die) is set to the start of the quest. When you hit the "Return to town" button it brings you back to the quest again.

It's almost a feature, since if you die, you don't have to navigate back to the quest, and you don't lose much reloading the page at worst, some potions. But it's still a bug, and it should be fixed.

This has NEVER happened to me before. I was on the travel map, training to be a knight, just for experience and gold. I was level 4 going for level 5 and fighting a Tank Knight I believe. I had my necromancer cloak, Ninjat, Doom wolf, seige shield and Big100K equipped. Then all of a sudden the screen froze. Then the attack button kept flashing. Then my character - Illyria attacked on her own. Followed by the Tank Knight attacking. Then my pet attacked. Several things seemed to be happening. Skull swarm attacking, necro heal, my character drinking a potion, a couple times the bubble with 'become a lich' popped up. Also, a 'msg bubble' popped up. Have no idea what that meant. I had to completely shut my browser and log back into Adventure Quest. That was the oddest thing that's ever happened. It's not a cache problem I know that much. Nothing like this has ever happened before.

Anyone have any idea why this might have happened?




EDIT: The message bubble that popped up was warning you that a Flash script was taking too long to complete.
Some code probably got in an infinite loop, or was just taking too long to process on your computer.
When this happens Flash turns off all code, and you just end up with a bunch of random animations and the game is stuck.
