quick question. Can we bring character developing npcs(non-combatant ones) into the story? If course the character in mind won't be showing up til day 2( because her legs are too short to get here before a certain some one).

I'll try to include more rules for King Catcher in the OOC when I get the chance. We can be pretty nondescript with the game. If we end up deciding on playing multiple rounds, we can sort out who wins when and what not.

Yet? Does that mean maybe in the future? Also, I think the card game would make a good place for a time skip don't you agree? It's quite easy to get lost in a couple of card games irl.

Will depends on game play and how much I feel I can trust each rper to have a controlled npc. Krey I would let pull in one at anytime but I have rped with him for a decade so I know his rp style. I need to feel out others I am not familiar with.


As far as the time jump goes, will see how the game gets played out.

Not that I want to in the immediate future, but is it possible to write an IC post to eject my current character, and use another one? This Rp doesn’t seem to be going where I expected, which was ploughing through a defined plot, like in Rise of Domrius. Hence I threw in a character that started with proper motivations to do so. At the moment, he bores easily and daydreams alot.

There’s a character I have in mind that would be far more suitable for potential turn-based combat and is within the vulnerability range of the majority characters here: An elf musketeer. Projectiles, unlike melee tools and lightning, could more leniently depend on the Gm for accuracy without suspending disbelief.

@Remnaint: The boredom and daydreaming just may be the side-effect of traveling with two companions who often converse in an unknown language. Generally speaking, boredom and daydreaming would occur in many characters in that situation. Could be a thing you hold out on until more can get back to the tavern. (Or get the scalies to talk regular talk)

Draycos you pedantic person! A story needs to define a plot sometime. We already defined the Grabbi plot, however small that was.
