And zardx3, mine has 2 different attacks, one that is the one you're talking about, and another that does 2 hits (the rolling one).

I've tested this on the combat trainer and with a run of 20 turns, 5 were attack 2 and 15 were attack 1, so i figure my rates are likely to be accurate. Also, the spider seems to not cause any decrease of damage you receive as i've tried the trainer with and without it, recieving almost identical damage. Attack 1 doesn't seem to have a cap on how much int it can drain, as i've had it drop int 8 times in one battle. Another thing to notice is the spider seems to deals more damage as time goes by, as it starts with hitting about 10-30 and goes to 20-50 near the end of the battle.

it isn't really a chance... I believe the spider just does the Web attack in the first attack of the battle, then every 4 round it refreshes it. And when it eats the enemies brain, it gains bonus damage --> thats not dependant of time, just how many times it does the 3 hit attack and the last attack hits. it will say: The brainspider eats your opponent's brain! and it will gain bonus dmg
