J.O.W. -> RE: Pets/Guests (4/1/2008 19:07:04)

quote:

mega nerfbat's td is 105
so 105 cha= 66 atack rate
0 cha= ??? ( i dont get forumla)
100% attack is 205 cha but caps at 200 cha's attack rate
price: 70000 gold
sellback:14000 gold

damage: 10-30 (not 100% sure)
when it nerfs it decreases the monsters defense stats by 10 (melee etc)
and raises the highest element modifeirs by 7 (on a dimond dog)
and lowest by 3 (on an undead paladin) and im not sure of the forumla but highest is riased like this ( i think) E /2 /10 + E
E= element modifier at that time
Reyn got it. Thanks! ~In Media Res

GUEST Nerfbat:

Temporary
Level: 0
Location: April 2008 (Acualt Location of it is a Spoiler)
3 hits, wind range
1 hit, wind range

(stacks with pet Nerfbat)

EFFECT: (Edit--Well for me I'm level 103 and this is what it did for me)

Decrease's MOB defence by 4

Multiplies Monster's Elemental Resistance by 104 Example: 100%=104%, otherwise negative then -100=-96

(NOTE This is Guest version not pet) Image same as pet~
Added. I'm going to say that you accidentally nerfed it twice, since it makes my life easier. Thanks! ~In Media Res

ayashi -> RE: Pets/Guests (4/1/2008 21:22:42)

quote:

@above: The Nerfbat i found on both my characters only nerfed defences by -2 and resistances by 102%.

A quote of a quote on pets nerffing stacking to fix the Cor Dem entry that says that it uses the same nerfpool as nerfkitten.

quote:

ORIGINAL: Comparison

quote:

Chii

GargantuanLeotard: Vampire Nerfbat is actually stronger than Nerfkitten (higher average damage when fully buffed), though it has more restrictions for buffing itself and nerfing.

Squirrel's nerfs are separate and stack with any source of nerfing.
Shield's nerfs are separate and stack with any form of nerfing.
Weapons nerfs do not stack with each other, but stack with any other form of nerfing.
Nerfbat's nerfs do not stack with Nerfkitten or Moglo Habilis, but stack with others.
Cor-Dem's nerfs stack with any source of nerfing.

--

Addressing something else brought up, the Comfy Pillow is stronger than the nerfed equipment. Finding it is a good thing. For guardians, the nerfbat guest is also helpful.

After beating the first battle against the Nerflord golem, you can equip your normal weapons and armor and use spells and pets. Do so.

[... unrelated ...]

@below: i doubt that i got a weaker guest, since my main is lvl 124 ... though for all fairness i'll go check it again, i case the guest got updated.
Finally got around to get the guest again: it is definitly a -2stats/defences nerf and a x102% resistance nerf.
Added. Thanks! ~In Media Res

@ayashi: Maybe coause your level's a lower character. (The weaker versions of the pet don't all dothe same NerF)

EDIT--
Wait why did my pet Nerfbat Satck with Nerfkitten? After four nerfs of my nerfkitten Nerfbat could not nerf anymore. Is this a bug?
Added. That was a bug. Thanks! ~In Media Res

somethinscary -> RE: Pets/Guests (4/1/2008 23:10:11)

quote:

I don't know if its a bug but for me cor dem and nerfkitten can both nerf 4 times in the same battle. i.e. they are stacking for me. everything i've read says they shouldn't, but they are for me...
It's not a bug. Thanks! ~In Media Res

Nerf staking is ... messy, at best, for the moment, maybe we should wait for the KoO to look at it :

ORIGINAL: westwind
We're going to be taking a close look at the nerfing pets overall. First off, the Nerfbat shouldn't stack with Nerfkitten. Second, I statted Cor-Dem under the assumption that it would not stack and will be determining new stats.
Taken care of. Thanks! ~In Media Res

No thats normal as ayashi already has been posted (info from staff member Chii)
But we have a "Question & Answer" forum and an event thread in "General Discussion" for that.

Which Nerfbat infos are still needed:

- exact dmg info (unbuffed/buffed)
- bth
- exact self buffing infos
- Attack rates (Rate at 0 CHA %; CHA needed for 100%)
Reyn got it. Thanks! ~In Media Res

it seems the nerfbat (lvl 90 at least) doesn't get the buff if the hits miss

Edit: if ANY of the hits miss. well, for me, it didn't say "the nerfbat buffs itself" when one of its hits missed.

TheKingofDoom&Gloom -> RE: Pets/Guests (4/2/2008 23:15:05)

quote:

Both of the Twig pets have an attack rate of 67% with each attack have a 33% chance of occurring. All of the Buccaneer Monkey pets have a 50% chance of either attack occurring when they attack with both attacks being 50% Base and Random. The Velocigobbler (14) Attack 1 is indeed 100 % Base and Random. All of the DebilZards have a 50% chance for either attack when it does attack and all of the damage is correct as stated. Jacques from the Water Orb quest does not attack with water like it's entry states. All of this is from the UltimateAQ site.
All updated. Thanks! ~In Media Res

To the Vampragon info i would like to add the following stats:

Attack rate at 0 CHA: 62%
CHA for 100% rate: 80

Also there is not detailed information on Nimbo.

And no BTH on Can-Can Cannon

No attack rate on Cobalt Dragon

Thanks!!!
I got most of the stats. The Vampragon doesn't seem to depend on CHA, since my 200 CHA character still has it idle sometimes. Thanks! ~In Media Res

Speaking of the Maglo-Habilis pet and considering the addition of the Nerf Bat series, both the Moglo-Habilis, and Ner Kitten pet should mention the Nerf Bat as one of the "nerf" effects that count towards the 4 max monster nerfs.
